Qaulity of video avatars??

Anyone got any advice to how I could improve the quality of my GIF avatars? I use Zamzar to convert to GIF and fireworks to make the avatars. Is it one of these that's the prob? Please get back soon!

Well I only used photoshop for my avatars, maybe use a different convertor?, or are there any settings on the program you are using to convert for the video qualitY?

Thanks for the advice :) I might try photoshop instead of Fireworks for avatars. There doesn't seem to be any settings for Fireworks either.

Simple one I use ;).

File>Import Video to Layers (or something like that)>hold shift for the part you want then voila :D

Oh, thanks very much! +K Take it that's photoshop btw?

ChelseaFan 12-05-2008 04:07 PM

Yep :). And it's Import>Video Frames to Layer ;)

Get Animation Shop, you just have to download an avi. video from any youtube converter an then you open in AS and the quality is rather good.

Thanks for the advice Callum ;)

Is there a format I should save it in on Photoshop. When I save it as GIF it flattens into 1 image and I don't know if any of the export options work on TiBB :P The ones I have tried all save i na new file as hundreds of pics, not as 1 video :(

Any advice, more +K.

You should use Adobe Image Ready.

It's straight forward and can be transfered back and forth from photoshop to create different frames etc.
