And the theme was hammered home yesterday when Channel 4 unveiled the show’s new-look “shattered eye” logo.

Insiders said it was a deliberate move to make the logo black, the colour of authority, and red, the colour of war.

A spokeswoman teased: “Big Brother knows that power corrupts. And this year’s game-playing will undoubtedly shatter the housemates’ hopes of an easy summer.”

The show kicks off its 13-week run on June 5. And bosses have hinted they might even turn the nominations on their heads by putting contestants who escape the eviction vote up for the chop.

They could also copy a twist from the US version, forcing contests to appoint a weekly “head of house”.

A source said: “The weaker links might be made leaders, while others may see their control vanish. Expect sparks to fly.”

Meanwhile, host Davina McCall, 40, has denied reports that she is to quit after this summer to become an actress.

She insisted: “This is a silly rumour. There is no truth in it.”

War and order. Sounds nice. Anything remotley associated with evil or loudness , that sort of thing , is good in my eyes.

Nobody wants last years 'Fun big brother'.

i agree evil is great, but i think they may have gone into this too much and got their hopes up. lets just say that BB will need some great ideas to impress me

Don't think it's exactly Evil they are going for, it seems to be Game Play and Competition this time, which could be great.

im liking this evil/war/conflict/order with the rules stuff - sounds really good - hope there is a lot of game play this year and not people just talkin too each other which there was far too much of last year -

I hope they change something slightly such as the nominations, but dont tell the housemates or HOH and POV - that would be good to watch!

With regard to this, "Theme" we have seen something like this before, Big Brother gets evil.

probably balls, it is the daily star lol.

"War" suggests that it will be a team game. You need at least 2 sides for a war, not just a bunch of individuals who are not in conflict or competition with each other.

Ties in with rumours of a return of Rich Side/Poor Side, or variation thereof.

So much for Big Brother going back to basics.

Also... DAVINA IS STAYING!. If she decided to leave I'd give up on Big Brother.
