Have the previews started?

So the eye has been revealed, has it started flashing on the TV yet?
The only time I watch Channel 4 is when Big Brothers on, so I haven't seen anything.

No, and probably won't until mid next week.

No they didn't. Last year, the eye was released on the 8th of May, with the eye flashes beginning on the 16th May. This was for a 30th May launch.

The eye has actually been released 1 week later this year due to the slightly later start of the launch. The eye has also already appeared in the Daily Star and on sites such as Sky News.

Possibly tonight during The F Word if we're very lucky, but I suspect the weekend is more likely. They might con us into watching Brokeback Mountain on Sunday like they did with Lord of the Rings pre-BB6.

Last year they only started two weeks before, but that was a very short campaign compared to previous years and I would expect they'll be a bigger promo campaign this year, so I'm expecting it to begin sooner rather than later.

I sure hope so!! These flashes could be interesting with this eye... I got so excited when I saw the first one last year. I nearly fainted. XD

i liked last years flashes and then the showing parts of the house in sections of the eye that lifted

This is probably unlikely to happen, but I can imagine the red section stabbing the rest of the eye then it shatters on the screen, I'd like that as an eye flash.

Hehe, I dunno why... but that and simply looking at the BB9 eye reminds me of the James Bond opening, when there's a gunshot and all blood runs down.

Good idea though... maybe there'll be just a normal boring eye at the beginning, and then it gets shot and shatters or something. XD lol, I dunno.
