How is your Latin?

I know these words

Carpe Diem
Seize the day

Tu Fui, Ego Eris
You where, I will be (Learned from Silent Hill)

Cogito Ergo Sum
I think, and Hence I am

I know 'Plumber' comes from the word 'plumburd'
(Something to do with water I think)

Isn't our language based around Latin, which is why its so hard to learn?

Post Hoc, Ergo Propter Hoc

After it, therefore because of it

Canus Canem Edit. Lol. I did Latin at school but cannot really remember much.

I remember my Greek alphabet from school though perfectly. Not that I ever use it.
