Off School
 

Yes I am was off school yesterday and I am off today and Monday also. Thursday was an inservice day where teachers only go to school and today and Monday are the May Weekend holiday.

I'm on study leave for my Leaving Cert(A-Levels). I never have to go to school again! Teehee.


edit:In Ireland school breaks up for summer end of May and doesn't got back till the start of September.

I am off for exam leave aswell, except my exams are finished and i have 10 days off untill i need to go into schol again

I am off from College for a week next week

i officialy finish school for the Summer next Friday.3 months off.woooh

Im broke up for half term today, and I'm finally on study leave!

I have been on study leave since last Friday and its great.

I have half term all next week. and then i only have one more term left, then break up for 6 week holidays.

I wasn't at school today cause my school is in building work so year 8's and 9's got the day off :D And i'm not in for the monday and tuesday that we go back

I get a 13 day half term :tounge:

Im off for the whole week, It was inset day today and the first day off. I go back to school on the 2nd of June. :dance:

Princess can you explain to me why schools in Ireland get longer summer breaks. Thanks in advance.

We just do! I have no idea why. Cos we don't get any shorter midterms,Easter or Christmas breaks.

Maybe the school hours are longer? Well I'm not in school anymore(gah,thats weird to say) but my day used to be 9-4.

I'm currently on half term now. BTW KKBL, you finish for summer so early, we don't finish until August and go back in september!!!:sad:

Ireland has 3 months holidays. Our summer term doesn't have a mid-term.

Im off college for the week then after these holidays i go back for one week then i have finished until septemeber..My last day at college is the day BB launches how cool is that! It will be the best day of the year for me lol

I'm at Uni and not on my summer holidays yet, not til early July. And then I'm off til late September/early October.

Can't wait, but I am sooo going to miss University and independence.

Next monday im going back to school and the week after my exams start! So its the week after BB starts, I dont do much revising anyway, I find it pointless. Teachers dont understand we have lives, they tell us to revise over the week we have off, even though we have to do that for 12 exams.It does my head in!
