Desperate Housewives : The Movie ?
After it's run - 2011 or when ever it's supposed to end. Do you think that Desperate Housewives could make it on to the big screen like Sex and the City and would you like it to?
I personally don't think it would work. The only the reason that it worked for Sex and the City imo, is that SATC is much more of a comedy with much shallower storylines (which is great - don't get me wrong) which is much easier to fit into a 2 hour story. SATC also has a huge fan base, people were dieing for it to be made into a movie, so they knew it was going to be a huge hit at the box office, which I don't think would be the same story for DH. I also think it would be virtually impossible to be made into a movie as it has much deeper and spread out stories, unlike SATC, so it just wouldn't do the show justice if they tried to fit a crappy storyline into a film. Anyway enough of me. What do you think? |
Sorry about the title if it was a little misleading. Edited now. :blush2:

Nah,Sex and the City is special.
I love DH but I can't see it being a movie. |
Nah.
I think copying ideas wouldn't put it in good stead tbh. |
I would love to see a movie and I think its a real possibility we could see one in the future.

I dont think desperate housewives would work as a movie.. it has too much happening in just one episode to put into one movie.. it would be good though if they cud pull it off :spin2:

I think It could be a good Idea, it would be hard to pull off well though I think.

Nah. Each finale of each season is like a movie itself. It is long enough to be and to be honest it is better than a hell of a lot of movies out there!

I think the closest you'll get is like 2-Hour Series Finale. Just to say goodbye properly to the show.
