Yes you're totally right, a few tv sites say it's live but they were possibly assuming a live wedding. C4 have confirmed nothing, and it says nothing on their website.

Thats great then.

There won't be.

They planned to show the wedding live but obviously in the UK its illegal to get married after 6pm so they could have sussed it out as fake.

Well its true ...

Illegal is the wrong word, its just not legit if you get married after 6pm.

It won't be legit and the way that comes across is as though its one of those made up stories to try and prove a point wrong

And if it is true then they aren't married.

*mazedsalv** 08-06-2008 04:46 PM

Do you think tonight that they will have live nominations to go up aggainist them 4? Or they could just put all the others up.

Something is up, I just dont think them 4 are up for eviction yet, there may be an extra thing tonight.

MarkWaldorf 08-06-2008 04:46 PM

I heard you can only marry between 8am and 6pm.

Uhm, no.

A marriage licence can be signed by two seperate declarations of seperate parties at any given time of the day, so long as it's recorded and seen by witnesses. Even once the papers are signed, the marriage isn't legal, it's once they're filed, does it become official.

If otherwise, explain to me the hoards of people who have midnight or sunrise ceremonies? It's utter nonsense.

So yes, a live wedding tonight it may be.

MR.K! 08-06-2008 04:47 PM

i think bb may have another twist in which each of the 4 nominated housemates can trade places with one of the other 12 housemates

Tom 08-06-2008 04:48 PM

You and your fiancé must be at least 16 years old (in England and Wales, if either of you is under 18, your parents or guardian must give their permission).

- You can’t be closely related.

- The marriage must take place in legal premises, such as a register office, religious venue or licensed venue.

- The marriage must take place in the presence of a registrar or an authorised person.

- The ceremony must take place between 8am and 6pm.

- Two witnesses must be present at both a civil and religious ceremony.

- You must both be free and eligible to marry (ie you can’t already be married!)

So yeah, Blink_Me, your 'mate' isn't legally married

I really hope that happens.
