Because Lisa is likable. "Better housemate" doesn't always mean nicer, and the public hates nastiness, which leaves us with neutral and calm ones like Lisa.

its only been a week and steph on the long run would of been a good housemate in my opinion .. she wasnt bitchy ... and i wanted to see what happened between her and rex.. and alsoo now shes gone alex will think shes the best and try and get everyone in her "gang" then she wont be up for ages and it will be a travesty!!

To be honest I find that insulting. I voted for Stephanie. And if you want my reasons then she didn't fit in there IMO. She put minimal effort into the task which seemed like a forecast for the rest of the show. She wasn't an interesting character in there and I believe the other three will offer more in the future than Stephanie would have done.
