Song you want played at your funeral?
I know this is a rather morbid topic, lol, but is there a specific song you want to be played at your funeral/wake?
Perhaps it's a sad number, or something that epitomises you? Or maybe it's something more upbeat to try and cheer people up? I personally have never thought about it. I'm not sure, to be honest. |
Spice Girls - Goodbye.
I love the song. Ginger was my favourite Spice Girl aswell -- I know the song wasn't about her (so they say) but it's in memory of her. |
I hate talking about funeral songs =|
My boyfriend sent me a song his favourite song of all time [Great Gig In The Sky - Pink Floyd] and then was like ''it's my funeral song'' and I was just like 'don't. you'll make me cry =(' AS FOR ME I'm not sure. Maybe Radiohead - Street Spirit. |
Countdown theme tune.
Seriously. Everyone thinks I am joking but I have told both my parents and my boyfriend that when I being cremated that as the curtains close on the furnace the conundrum song plays. That, and "Could it be Magic" by Take That. Everyone's invited. Party of the year. |
Lmao Lauren that sounds well fun  my mum and dad want to have a happy funeral i think my dad wants something like madness - house of fun lol me? I like to keep mine sad and depressing
DJ Sammy - heaven [slow version] and Sinead O Connor - Nothing compares to you  |

Sarah McLachlan - Angel. Bound to leave them in distress for days. |
Oasis - Champagne Supernova
Youth Group - Forever Young (Ironic much?) South - Paint the Silence |
"Hot Hot Hot" by Arrow at my cremation.
|
I really wish I could witness my own funeral to see who is only there for the nibbles at the wake ect. lol
|
Ooh. Hallelujah by Imogen Heap that would have everyone bawling their eyes out; Listen:

Anyway for me I want something ****ing depressing like I want everyone to cry. I hope they will because they will miss me. If they won't I will really be pi$$ed off. The song would be The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony. |
Wind Beneath My Wings would be good.

Had me fallin asleep after a minute, it would'nt make me cry but it would stop me going to any other funerals thats for sure. If I played this till the end, I'd probably end up at my own sooner too. |

On a sub-topic of this, what do you reckon is the most inappropriate song to play at a funeral?
[Just so we don't feel too depressed] I'd say Mousse T - Horny? |

Nope, and you can bully me all you like with your BS approach to a differing oppinion, but this version of the song is indeed SH*TE |
