ive been an avid fan of big brother from day one,ive seen every show every series n any programmes that is remotely related to it.almost any website i visited about bb the concensus was that mario was going to be evicted,newspaers believed it even the bookies and they hardley ever get it wrong anyone i spoken to all said the same hes going,after what happened last night i seriously believe its all a con something is not write,i think were all being screwed

Don't be silly. It was between Mario and Steph and Steph was chosen.

Steph went. Lots of people thought she should, maybe they're not all online! Get over it. :thumbs:

The general viewing audience often have different opinions to those of us in opinion polls on forums.

Look what happened last year: Sam & Amanda were faves for a few weeks and Brian won with 60% of the votes. Bookies don't mean anything.

If you don't suffer from amnesia, Stephanie was the bookies favorite for half the week too, the overwhelming majority wanted her to go after voting began because of the way she handled herself in the task.

Only after the encounter with Alex did perceptions start to change, and it obviously wasn't enough to sway things in her favor.

For god's sakes people, every time a favorite leaves that does not mean the show is rigged.

Steph went, get over it. No fix
The last think BB wants is a phone in scandal, so I am sure they aren't going to be fixing it.
Just because someone goes who the majority didn't think would go, doesn't mean its a fix.
I think it great, back to unpredictable evictions again.

yeah and MAYBE the ppl who want mario out only voted a couple of times where ppl who wanted steph out voted 10+ times!

voting has also been going on ALL WEEK not just last night! so yeah maybe the mood was mario out but steph had more votes through the week.....

It's the predictable casual viewers and the jealous teeny boppers vote got her. Everyone thought Mario would go, even people at Big Brother themselves as did the press and the bookies. It wasn't as if it was just people online thinking Mario was a gonner, most people thought that.

But like I say Steph is a young and attractive female, she had no chance with the majority that vote on the show.

Oh shut up with the jealousy card, I'm a guy and I wanted her out. Not everything is about looks.

Really? so how comes i couldn't get threw to steph when i phoned a few times?

The bookies have been wrong before, it wasn't a fix as i said i couldn't get through to Steph when i rang, think people need to get over it.

and it might not be physical jealousy, it's could be that she's 19 and in the house...as opposed to the millions of other 19 year old girls that didn't get through...remember when someone says "you're jealous" it doesn't always mean physically

It's a shame she has gone first, as there were 2 other people who deserved to go before she did...and I doubt that it was all down to that task and how she "handled" herself...I don't quite get what people are going on a bout there...I think she handled herself with a lot of dignity...she could have gone the other way and been all over Mario in front of Lisa...but that would just have made her more hated by the viewers, saying she's just a slag...which would have definitely got her the boot when she was up (which she would have been due to the "there's a real couple in the house" statement by BB...

and now we have Mario saying why him and Lisa are still in there...due to their "loads of friends" we should all have seen it coming really...two people's friends against one persons friends are always going to win in a vote...we'll have to watch in the following weeks to see if that's true.

but Alex needs to be the next out, I doubt anyone will miss her...I know I wont

If they're jealous of her being in the house then surely they'd be jealous of Mario, Luke and Lisa too?

Also; there's no denying some people will be jealous but to suggest that its such a high number that it affects the voting? Laughable, almost.

i think the only ever fix would have been the shilpa shetty racism and then her winning

If you check on DS there were loads of threads about it. Apparently it was saying "calls to this number are barred" Im not just saying that cos I wanted Steph to stay haha

But when i tried Stephs all im getting was the number you have called has not been reconised, i tried 5 times and checked few times make sure i had right number and i did.

I tried to vote to evict Mario and the line wasn't working...

Ya think? this has always been the BB case since Nikki voted out was put back in to be voted back out AGAIN!!.
Any 'respect' for the show and more importantly its viewers was binned for all time, from that moment onwards.
It's still a great show and concept but when it comes to voting I'm afraid anyone who picks up a phone to vote is a fool.

I did hear alot of complaints about the phone line on Mario's line, and none what-so-ever about Steph's, I do hope she get's back into the house some how, even though I do understand that people will be unhappy if she does after voting for her.

Genuinely dissapointed she has gone, GET HER BACK!
