Task: Musical Mayhem
 

The housemates were called to the sofas this afternoon to be given their latest task and it wasn't long before mayhem ensued.


"Would the most musical housemate come to the Diary Room," ordered Big Brother.


Dale and Sylvia immediately jumped up but returned to their seats, solemn-faced, when the rest of the housemates started calling for Darnell to go to the Diary Room.



A few minutes later Darnell returned to the group brandishing the instructions and read out the following:


"Big Brother would like to give housemates a new skill. Housemates will all learn to play musical instruments. Periodically, housemates will be given one hour with the instrument during which time they will learn 'Oh When The Saints Come Marching In'... and perform the piece as one."


"Housemates must choose an instrument."



"They will be expected to stick with that instrument during their time in the House."


"Housemates will be provided with simple instructions on how to play that instrument."


As soon as Darnell was done, the housemates began shouting out for their favourite music maker.


"I'll take the triangle," piped up Luke.


"Recorder," bluntly blurted Alexandra.



Finally the Store Room opened and the housemates tore across the room to bagsy their chosen instruments.


Beaming Rachel grabbed the flute, triumphant Mario nabbed the tuba, Rex bagged the Timpani Drum and Alexandra dragged away the recorder she wanted. Darnell is the conductor and Dennis is the vocalist. Ear plugs at the ready folks...
