Missing Members
 

i used to lurk on tibb until they made everyone sign up to view the forum but posting is a lot different to lurking. the forum feels different but neither in a positive or negative way. the main reason is members. i don't know if its just because im seeing different peoples posts or if people genuinely have mysteriously vanished. i know there was a bit of sillyness a while back with a big argument around one member and subsequently a few more disappearing but even since signing up it feels like a lot of the older/more regular and respected posters have just vanished.

again i know some people just move on but ive lurked on tibb for ages and ive never known such a high volume of long standing posters to disappear at once.

it isn't just me is it? and can anyone put names/reasons to the 'missing list'?

I tends to happen. I didnt post on here last year nor did i watch the show last year (unlike the previous 7 series lol)

The missing members will most likely be back. Apart from an old member called Hooly One, I doubt he'll ever be back.

No, it's not just you. It's what happens on forums in general - people get busier, or visit different forums, and just don't have time. The atmosphere changes as new members join, but it can still be just as good! And it's always nice when older members pop back in now and again.

I think Wasted left after the whole BRIT argument.

A good few left just before BB9, but they're all mostly back now :)

I don't think that many have left as of recent. If anything, the opposite - people are coming back... Chris, Stacey, Gaz, Callum, Kore... amongst others (some are older members I didn't know 'back in the day' too).

i just came back as i do every year i guess. but ill be around bit more now :)

There are quite a lot of people including some founding members who have long gone. I dimly remember when TiBB was on a different platform to XMB. (Mark correct me if I am wrong on that)

We also had LEE, Janette, Queeny, Boris

I have been here since the split from Talk Big Brother and it feels like I am one of the last surviving members of the old guard :sad:

What BRIT argument?

A lot of people are probably doing exams and this forum isnt just for BB but during BB that makes up the majority of posts so does that dont watch BB may not come on for a while.

Like anything people come and go. People go off and come back now and then... and some go forever. But, we all still love TiBB, no matter what happens, what we think or if we go off for a bit. Personally, this will always feel like my first internet home.

After Leona won nothing, a huge argument broke out between people.

Members come and members go, but the one thing that stays constant is TiBB. it's here for all members, new and old, and everyone is welcome. :wavey:
