Do you ever get frustrated by new members?

Mm, sometimes, if they make pointless threads that have just been made, but really, we are all new, so we all deserve to be treated equally.

You were new once you know in fact only a few months ago.

I still see myself as 'new' even though I've been here for over a year.

I get more annoyed with older ones.

We were all new once. When you join up a new forum, or enter a new site, it can take some time to get used to the format and navigate round. Usually it takes a while before we understand what everything does and how to use it all.

We just have to patient with newer members of the forum until they come to learn of the rules etc. themselves.

There is always an influx of new members when BB starts. Like Ash says. We have to be patient and point them in the right direction.

I agree. I bet I was probably annoying when I first came on :tongue:

I think they are fine, like someone in this thread said we were all new once.

Sometimes I get annoyed, but I think we should all remember that we were was new once.

No we were all new once (god i've nearly been here a year seems much longer).

I'm new myself, and I'd like to think that I don't frustrate people, apologies if I do.

But yeah, like people have said you were all new once, and you just have to remember what it was like.

Oldies can be just as bad sometimes :yuk:

I do occasionally get annoyed with new members, but like other people have said, we need to remember that we were new members once. I think with good guidance from other member's, the newbies will flourish very quickly.

Im not too bothered, everyones new at some point, i still think of myself as a fairly new member, so im not too bothered, they all usually dissapear after BB anyway.

No, I was a new member at one time and people just have to be patient with new members as they will soon learn how everything works.

We were all new at one point.

Even old members can be frustrating at times.

It's all about give and take how ever long a person been on the site. It's knowing when to back off and leave a thread or a person alone. Yes, old and new members make mistakes we all do from time to time. It's human nature but what most frustrating is dealing with the people that gang up on people and talk about them on MSN etc.....

We all have to post together on TiBB so lets have a little tolerance and respect for other members be them new or old.

Actually it was 4 years ago, but due to complications with moving, PC troubles and a terrible memory I had to create a new accounts. (Don't worry mods I can't ever access old accounts and I was never banned!:thumbs:)

I'm not complaining, I'm making an observation.
