Do wee need Luke and Bex?
 

Do you think we should keep Luke and Bex in the house? They are currently both in the lead in the Tibb least favorite housemate poll, Bex got 21.4% and Luke with 20.4%.

They are not very liked outside of the house, but for me they are the ones I tune in to watch. They are two housemates creating the most tension and Bex specially instigates a lot of the house fun. They do bitch a lot - but do we need a house bitch? If we lose Rebecca and Luke we haven't really got another house bitch. I think we need to keep these two in the house, other wise we will be left with housemates like Rachel and Maysoon.

Get rid of both of them!

Couldn't agree more, but of course, the public like you said would much rather watch Rachel and her 5 words an episode, and Maysoon with her 2, 3 on a good day words an episode. Used to it by now, I just hold hope that one day the voting system will change.

Rebecca and Luke ARE Big Brother 9. They will be the housemates that are remembered, because, let's be honest, they are providing entertainment and the fact that they create so much opinions on this forum shows that they need to stay.

It's a shame though, Bex will go next, and Luke will follow a few weeks later, and then BB9, will be crap. Blunt but true, Kat,Rachel,Darnell,Rex may all be nice people, but they will not provide an hours worth of entertainment for the next 6 weeks. There's a reason why Bex and Luke are featured more, its because they are more entertaining, and the others, simply aren't.

she'd get more than 5 words an episode of stupid rebecca shut her fat gob and let others speak! lol + BB would edit it so that they showed more of everyone else rather than just showing rebecca a lot, for viewing numbers

There's a reason Bex gets shown more for "viewing numbers", if any of the others said anything interesting, they would be shown more.

If Rachel wasn't so dull she would not be overshadowed by clearly more entertaining Rebecca.

Rachel is just dull. And when she does speak, he false nature just makes me cringe.

I tune in to watch Bex and Luke
They're the most entertaining to watch, yes they bitch about people, but its funny, and is great to watch.
Nobody wants to watch a bunch of people sit around eating all the time.

The purpose of the highlight show is to show the highlights of the past 24 hours in the house. Rachel and Maysoon don't say or do anything remotely interesting to make the highlight show whereas Bex obviously does, hence her being shown so much. Bex has dominated the last fortnight of highlight shows, like her or not she has, so if she went, then the highlight shows would get progressively worse.

Yeah, granted, if she goes then Rachel and May may get more than a few words, but that won't make what they say anymore interesting will it?

It's not Big Brother this year, it's the Luke & Bex make their own "Carry On" movie show.

Not at all. I don't agree they make the show fun. I think they - and I mean Bex in particular - make the show childish not fun. Acting like a silly stupid girl (a la Jade Goody/Emma Greenwood) has been done to death. Do we really need to see this again? Plus, when Bex adds in her spitefulness I think she becomes a very unentertaining HM. Luke is slightly better than Bex but the house could stand to lose either of them.

Yeah, we do need them both. Without them two the show would be so boring. None of the others have opinions on anything. The house can't all be "nicey-nice". The reason their always shown on the HL's is because they actually are providing entertainment, unlike the others. Keep them in!

If they weren't there there would be NO show... NOTHING would happen... it would be dull, boring and uneventful like most of the other housemates.

We dont need any HM. Didn't we have similar threads for Sylvia, Mario and Jen? They all left and the show rolled on.

I don't think we need them, especially not Luke. I like to see bitching on BB, it creates tension in the house which is entertaining to watch. However I don't like it when the only words that come out of someone's mouth are words of bitchiness as is the case with Luke. You can almost guarantee that every thing Luke says will be against someone else and I don't tune in to hear his corrupt opinions on other housemates in every other scene. I'm just sick of the sound of his voice!

We dont need Luke, but although Bex has been annoying and whiney she has also brought alot of mayhem to the house, which is fun to watch. The food fights are all centered around Stu and Bex, the karaoke task was hilarious, her in jail is hilarious.
I'd like to see what else bex brings... but without Luke.

Luke and Bex are good to watch together. They make me smile.
