Sorry for the rant.
But this is REALLY starting to annoy me.

I've been in debates with at least three other members about housemates in the house, and they've used the fact I'm a Dennis fan to disregard my argument.

WHY DOES IT MATTER IF I'M A DENNIS FAN?
I CAN SUPPORT WHO I WANT?
HE ISN'T EVEN IN THE HOUSE ANYMORE.
STOP. BRINGING. HIM. INTO. ARGUMENTS. THAT. DON'T. CONCERN. HIM.

I've seen this happen for about a week now, twice today.
Who I support has no relation to what I'm like, or how you should judge me, or my opinions.
I don't slag off your opinions because you like Darnell, or Mohamed, or Luke; so why disregard mine if I like Dennis?

He's not in the house anymore.
Stop using that against me.
I'm sick and tired of making an opinion
and being told it can't be taken seriously, or it being dismissed.
because I'm a Dennis fan.
SO. fricken. what.
Big bananas.
I can support/like whatever housemate I like, regardless of their status/actions. I have my reasons, end of.

It's really starting to get to me that I can't have an opinion anymore because they're not being taken seriously, or being dismissed.

Again; sorry for the rant.
I've had several people do this to me over the past week or so.
&Feel it should be brought to attention.

I've noticed this too Darenn and I think it's unfair when people bring it up all the time when it's totally irrevelant.

I kept seeing that said to you and its completely unfair.
Just because of what he did, doesn't mean your opinion should be completely disregarded.
But I wouldnt worry, there are people on here who take BB SOOOO seriously that theyll say anything to defend their favourites.

People who go on like that arent even worth debating with tbh

No but in all honesty, people really should not bring whoever you support into an argument, I remember when people went on a karma craze and kept reducing members karma because they supported certain housemates.

It's so pathetic that people would do that over a TV show. I don't dare enter the BB9 Section unless I'm in the mood to argue, because thats what its become.

That is just bringing a brilliant reality tv show,into situations it just pathetic.

I feel a lot better knowing that other members have seen/noticed it, and understand where I'm coming from.

I'm up for a good debate but I hate just not being taken seriously because of who I support?

I'd love to do that PJ, but it might earn me a ban =P lool.
&I guess most of you are right, it's not worth debating with them if they're like that.

Sorry but I don't approve of people who use something so irrelevant against someone else to act as if they aren't allowed an opinion.

I personally can't understand why people attach themselves so closely to the most inept bunch of sorry ar*ses currently breathing the same air as far more intelligent and entertaing species such as bluebottle flys and stick insects.
They are simply 20 people who for 39 weeks of the year most people pass by without noticing at all, cept say Belinda's poor husband:tongue:

Either way, you should never be disregaurded an oppinion on here and always treated with the same respect you have of others making thier oppinion known too.
Good for you Darren, it was a rant fully justified even though I found Dennis to be nothing more than a common thug, and one of the vilest excuses of a human being Ive seen in my entire life.

im giving my opinion, i have no idea how anyone who would support such a person for doing such a disgusting act

He did other things in there.
He didnt walk through the doors, spit in someones face then leave 2 minutes later.

Supporting Dennis is irrelevant to this thread. Darren is talking about members being treated differently because they support certain housemates, only because Dennis did wrong and Darren still supports him as a housemates, that's no reason for a member not to be taken seriously while participating in a debate.

I could be equally arsey and disregard everything you say because you're a Darnell fan, but I don't.

It's immature to hold something against people in a debate; and what's more is that it makes it impossible to debate if you already have prejudiced and conceited views.

but i dont treat people differently for supporting certain housemates

I don't support him FOR doing that.
I support him because he was a good housemate.
I don't condone the spitting.
He did more than that in the house as Markus said.

Even though you thought that of Dennis, you still listen to my opinions and stuff, and I respect that you, and other members can do that.
I don't believe you should attach people with who they support, as you said.

Yeah it shouldn't be brought up, but feel honoured - if they disregard your argument cos you're a Dennis fan it means they have nothing else to say - which means your argument was good! :spin2:
