Luke\'s Bitching About Kat...VINDICATED!!

I'm a Luke fan but even I was starting to think he was getting a little too entrenched with the bitching towards Kat...until just after 3am this morning.

During a conversation between Rex and Rachel, Kat piped up, "I came in to win."

Luke was completely right about her all along. She is the biggest game player in there, she is being false and she is being a drama queen by playing up to the cameras. She's everything Luke says she is. She's gone in purposely to play some kind of cutesy cookie loving wookie cartoon character for the viewers in a bid to win the show. She screeches at any given opportunity (more than Bex!) and totally acts up for the cameras. She pretends to be all innocent but she knows exactly how the show works and what's going on. She's trying to be like the twins from last year. Act cute...that's her brief. It's not real and the facade has started to slip.

Don't be hoodwinked any longer. If she's up this week, vote her out and shock the house.

I disagree, the way Kat goes on his her personality, you cant say she is fake because she said she went in to win, let's face it, who didn't go in to win ?, yes people might say they never, she's being truthful were as the other housemates won't admit it.

MarkWaldorf 19-07-2008 04:56 PM

The fact your a Luke fan proves how out of context you've taken it.

Saying that she wants to win doesn't mean she's being fake at all. Every single one of them wants to win and that doesn't mean that they're being fake to do so...Big Brother is a game, you should go into win anyway, there's nothing wrong with it. It's like entering the Olympics but not wanting to win...

Hey, hold on a second. Just because she said she wants to win, doesn't mean she is acting up. Let's be honest here for a sec, anyone who goes in there, regardless of what they say, wants to win. Darnell and Luke keep going on about the cheque, for example. Just because Kathreya has said she wants to win, Does NOT make her false and does NOT discredit her in anyway. It isn't fair to say that she isn't genuine because she said she wants to win - that doesn't even make sense.

Who enters Big Brother without the thought of them winning? Rachel came in to win, Mohamed came in to win, Luke came in to win, Lisa came in to win...name me a housemate this series that did not come in to win.

Basically, Unblonde, you're wrong, lol.

Someone has come onto a forum and claimed Kat is fake and sly like Luke has so often commented on just because she said "I came to win" Who hasn't? I'm sorry for agreeing with someone because other peoples posts have taken this 'comment' completely out of context.

Unblonde 19-07-2008 05:20 PM

I'm not saying Kat is completely fake. She shows her real self occasionally.

But Luke has been saying for ages that she's a gameplayer who's acting up and people have moaned about him saying that. Even I was thinking Luke had got the wrong end of the stick with Kat but this week I've seen a different side to her, the side that Luke, Lisa and Mikey have been talking about.

The fact is, she went into the house playing a character. Ok, so maybe there are housemates who went in to win but they're doing it as themselves. They're not trying to get a ticket to the final by playing an extra from the Powderpuff Girls.

Right ok, If you are so sure about Luke and Bex's arguement then explain this...

They want Kat to be herself and admit to things more. She admits she wants to win - every housemate does. And now suddenly she's a beast?
Thats the most hypocritical thing on BB9. :conf2:

Steph and Belinda, one could'nt wait to screw up the task and the other just coulnt wait to get a task to enter the BB house and screw up the experience from day one.

I f Luke and Kat were in the final two I would vote Kat. If it was Luke and Dale I would vote Dale (to win). If it was Luke and Bex I would vote Luke (to win)

Luke and Bex weren't party to her saying that. Kat only said it to Rex and Rachel. If Kat had said it to Luke and Bex then the situation would be different.

Luke and Bex know that she's holding back and the fact that she wouldn't say that to their faces rather proves them right.

Luke and Bex have both said that they don't mind if they go before the final. They're actually both expecting to be voted out before other housemates. Kat, on the other hand, entered the house knowing that if she acted a certain way she'd be a shoe-in for the final. Luke has been saying that for the last couple of weeks and others have noticed.

Or maybe because Kat just wants to tell people that won't twist her words. Someone she trusts e.g. Rachel and Rex.

No offence but its just a few words which relates to every housemate. I just don't see how this could be justified into what you are saying. But I respect your opinion.

It wasn't so much that I was attacking Kat's gameplan or defending Luke's. It was that people are always complaining about Luke's bitching but in this instance he's been proved right. So if he' right about Kat, who else is he right about when he bitches?

I just don't see the point of people continuously complaining about Luke's bitching when what he's saying turns out to be true. I agree he could tone it down slightly but he is, in essence, observing certain situations.

On the issue of him being two faced, yes there is an element of that, but no-one, including Kat, would purposely jeopardise their position in the house so he doesn't air his views more widely. They're all two faced in the house to a certain extent. As are a good proportion of people in the world every day.
