Bless Bex And Her Body
 

There're people who call her fat or unattractive, but her attitude to her own body image is actually very positive and should be celebrated.

Ok, you don't have to find her attractive, we all have our own preferences when it comes to what we fancy or not, but I love how Bex has no hang ups about her body shape. While she may not be the best example in terms of fags and booze to young women, in one area - how she views her body image - she's a good rolemodel.

i kinda agree ,she is annoying getting baps out all the time,it is a bit like err rebecca your not the only girl in the world with boobs!However saying that i liek how shes comfortable with her self,she wears what she wants and she doesn`t care what people think.Maybe she is body conciencous but at least she doesn`t show it.

I wouldn't say she was fat anyway. And who cares what she looks like, it is what she is like as a person that counts.

I said that to my friend yesterday. Whether you like her shape or not, you have to admire her for not having the body hang-ups the majority of us have.

My weight has changed over the years - gone up, gone down.. and no matter how big or small I am, I still have issues.

Bex doesn't have these issues. Good for her.

Im probably the same size as her on my bottom half but quite a bit smaller than her on the top but we prob have similar size boobs and there is no way i would be as confident as she is sometimes,id never get my belly out on tv lol.

I think she's amazing.
And tbh it doesnt matter she has a gorgeous face.

She's not at all fat, but i agree, she is a good rolemodel, compared to all the skinny celebs who are never happy with their body. Bex doesn't really care, judging by the fact shes always got her top off rofl

she's a role model for me :) i'm a size 12 and it's nice to see someone happy about it, and not being like "i want to be thinnnner"

Or she is just in denial.... if she felt good about her body and person she wouldn't have the need to go "flashing" herself everywhere. Doing so is a sign that she is very uncomfortable with her body and seeks approval of it in that manner.

Saying anyone who is fat is a good rolemodel is stupid, obesaty is a major health risk and one that is costing taxpayers billions of dollars in medical care to people who simply could't exersize a little bit of self control.

With hitler dead, I think it stands Rebeca is the last person on this earth who is a good role model.

The point I was making is that Bex IS NOT fat, but people view her as such because she's not a size 8. I'm actually about the same size as her, although she's much more toned, and I'm not obese on any scale. If you think Bex is obese then you're putting a hell of a lot of women down when they're actually a normal size.

That's the problem with current views on body weight, shape, size or appearence. Bex is in good proportion and showing girls that it's ok to not worry if you're not thin.

A normal sized woman looking at Bex, who's a normal size, but getting the message from people that Bex is "fat" is being sent the wrong message. Yes, there are people in the world who are overweight and obese, but Bex isn't actually one of them.

In truth, TV actually does make people and objects look slightly bigger than they are as it represents 3D images in 2D. I've seen myself and people I know on screen and you really do look slightly different on a television than you do in person. You simply cannot judge someone's weight if you have only ever seen them on a television screen.

I think she's just gobby and attention seeking.

yes but its better than saying a size 6 person is a good role model because then the situation is reversed and the effects are even worse.Id rather be say a size 16 and a bit obese than be a size 4 anorexic

I don't understand why it's ok to slate thin people for what some call too thin but not fat people?

The thinner girls seem to get attacked just as often- called unhealthy or slagged off for being too thin, when I don't think they are.

I've heard it said about sara and jen. I don't think they were too thin or unhealthly thin??

I have no time for Bex, but I would never put her in the same post as Hitler! Thats just rediculous.
As for her body image. Totally agree, it does make a change to have someone not obsessed with being over a size 10. I disagree about her flashing her t*ts because she thinks she fat and not happy with her figure, she does that because that is part of her whole persona, ott, acts without thinking etc and just doesnt see anything wrong with it . A girl her size is not at risk, she only has a big bust, not not commenting on her drinking etc, thats a separate issue. But she is not over weight, remember, tv puts on around 10 pounds.

I think she acted disgusting last night. I really don't like her.

Rebbecca is fat... maybe if she lost 25-35lbs she would be decent weight/size.

So because the majority of people are too lazy to maintain a healthy lifestyle it because our problem and "society" fault promoting unrealistic "body images".... please.


Just because there are people who are overweight to a greater degree than her does not negate the fact that she is overweight.
