The A-Team (2009 Film)
 

The A-Team is a feature film which is based on the TV Series which will be released in the US on June 12, 2009. It will be produced by 20th Century Fox and Universal Studios and direcred by John Singleton.
The film has been in development since the mid 1990s, going through a number of writers and story ideas, and beig put on hold a number of times. Producer Stephen J. Cannell hopes to update the setting, perhaps using the first Gulf War (instead of the Vietnam War used in the 80s TV Series) as part of the backstory. The cast has not been revealed but the cast from the TV series will not be in the film (obviously George Peppard couldn't be in it). Singleton hoped Woody Harrelson will take on the role of Murdock, while Ice Cube has expressed his intrest in the role of B.A. Baracus. It has also been rumoured that Bruce Willis is being considered the role of John "Hannibal" Smith.
