Words you can never...

Spell or Say.

I can never spell "Minute" for instance. Never get it right, If i didnt have spell checker none of you would know what im saying. What words can't you say and what words can you never spell?

My sister cant say "Icing" for instance she always says "Icining" for some bizarre reason and a friend of mine can never say "Caterpillar" she says "Capapilla"

MrGaryy 23-07-2008 04:46 PM

I can't say influential I get all muddled up. I used to not be able to say specific.

Annie 23-07-2008 04:48 PM

Oh and I cant say anemone, from finding nemo... Everytime I repeat it about 10 times I go... "Anenenenenomi"

Princess 23-07-2008 04:53 PM

Completley and rididculously

And they're probably(ooh there's another one I have trouble with) spelt wrong! Actually I used to have a huge problem with the difference between slept and spelt. I did English grinds which helped out my spelling a lot. I had speech therapy when I was younger as well.

I can never spell beautiful < sp? lol x

Mark 23-07-2008 05:04 PM

I sometimes stumble on R's and W's, where the words begin with those letters.... a sentence like "a rare white wild rabbit was raring wildly"... sometimes I get my tongue in a knot over those

I used to misspell 'definitely' all the time, until someone told me just to remember it has FINITE in, and now it's easy to remember.

supernoodles! 23-07-2008 05:10 PM

im not sure, but my bf can never say squirrel

Lauren 23-07-2008 05:12 PM

'Hiccuping' I say... hiccup-ick-ing.

Dan_ 23-07-2008 05:47 PM

I always used to spell experience wrong.

Rocko 23-07-2008 05:47 PM

At GCSE, I used to have a problem with tomorrow, apologise, desperate and independence.

If I think about spelling too much, even of simple words, I end up convincing myself of believing in the wrong spelling or not being able to spell it at all or even pronounce it.

AngRemembered 23-07-2008 05:54 PM

Necessity (I had to look it up again in order to spell the word) and Necessarily

When saying the words I get stuck and often repeated the 2nd or 3rd syllable and cant seem to ever finish saying the word but get caught in a mini... nec sess. cess..cess arlily loop:conf2:

GhettoSuperstar 23-07-2008 06:04 PM

Weird one but I can't say the make 'Rimmel', I always say it like it is something really posh.
'Hopsital', often say 'Hopsital'.

Rocko 23-07-2008 06:32 PM

Also, apparently I can't pronounce Primark properly.

I always spelt because; beacues :conf2:

Matt10k 23-07-2008 11:52 PM

If I try saying it quickly or without thinking, I sometimes have trouble saying 'hydrogen'

I know it's not a common word you'd just come out with :laugh3:

So most of the time, I'm ok!
