Girls (Scream) Aloud: A Mans Sick Murder Fantasy

Quote:

EXCLUSIVE Man accused over website tale about pop band being raped, hacked to death and sold on ebaY

An internet blogger has been charged over a sickening online story about kidnapping, raping and butchering Girls Aloud - then selling their mutilated bodies.

The 34-year-old man was arrested after a year-long worldwide probe by crack detectives from Britain and Interpol.

Cops swooped on the home he shares with his mum and dad after a perverted fantasy tale about the five pop babes was serialised on an erotic website.

The story is titled Girls (Scream) Aloud.

And in a lurid plug, the site describes it as "the very sexy deaths of all five members of the world's sexiest all-girl group". It spells out in graphic detail how Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts are snatched and abused by a brutal sex monster. The fiend then murders the girls before ruthlessly dismembering their bodies.

And in a final act of appalling depravity, he auctions off their mutilated body-parts on eBay.

The blog began exactly a year ago on a bizarre website specialising in fantasies about murder, torture and child abuse.

A flood of complaints about the vile postings deluged the Internet Watch Foundation, a nationwide body which cracks down on sick material on the net.

Officials launched their own investigation - and decided to call in police.

Cops at first believed the blogs had started in America.

But the trail eventually led to the UK after a joint probe by detectives in London, Northumbria and the US.

And the alleged blogger was finally tracked down to Tyneside and arrested after internet experts meticulously tracked all the postings to the website.

He was later freed on bail and is believed to have undergone hospital treatment as part of his bail conditions.

He said: "Yes, I did write the stuff about Girls Aloud and I'm sorry if I caused offence or worry - it wasn't what I intended.

"What I wrote was just a fantasy thing. It was harmless."

He refused to explain WHY he had used the girl band, saying: "I'm not a fan of theirs at all so there's no real reason I picked them - I just did.

"I've written other articles along the same lines which are not about Girls Aloud or celebrities and which I've not been charged over.

"But I'm not prepared to go into why I write them."

Cheryl, 25, Sarah, 26, Nadine, 23, Kimberley, 26, and Nicola, 22, rocketed to fame through the ITV1 show Popstars: The Rivals.

They won international acclaim with a string of hits like Sound Of The Underground and Love Machine.

But they were forced to step up security last year when a naked lesbian stalker slipped into their dressing room.

The band immediately hired five former SAS guards to protect them.

'Yes, I wrote it but I'm not prepared to say why I did'

He is due to appear in court on Tuesday to face charges under the Obscene Publication Act.

The man at the centre of the probe insisted last night the story was NOT malicious.

The weirdest part is that he actually created a fictional character to sell their body parts on Ebay.

I actually looked at the site and their was a disclaimer that took up a whole page so theres no way someone young would of read it by accident.
I think it was a "harmless" story until he actually started selling the body parts on ebay.

piratefishfingers 27-07-2008 04:54 PM

Did you actually look for the story or did you just believe everything you read in the papers?

The story and the site it was written both feature disclaimers.
Nobody could have found this story unless they were looking for it, and no child could have 'accidentally' stumbled onto this story.

What im most concerned about is that this man is being named a sick pervert when all he did was create a piece of FICTION.

not once did he say he wanted to carry out any of these acts, or that indeed he would, or infact that he would enjoy if anyone else did it.

I can't honestly see what all the fuss is about, and i personally believe that this man has done nothing wrong.

I am not interested atall in his works, however he has not harmed anyone, and it is impossible to see how his story can be considered as a threat to any educated person.

Get a life.

I don't think he should have been arrested at all - it's one thing planning their deaths but just writing fantasy FICTION works? That's not a crime.

Freedom of speech, where art thou?

Read my post above.

There is nothing wrong about using your imagination but its the fact that he tried to auction off their body parts.

That's just pure disgusting.

Lauren 30-07-2008 06:32 PM

It's disgusting, but how are the police going to keep up the standard of arresting everyone with disgusting thoughts? They can't.

Did you actually even read her first post?! Specialises in CHILD ABUSE!?!

...That's even more sickening.

Ella 30-07-2008 06:35 PM

That is sick but how about the police concentrate on catching child predators and perverts rather then people writing stories.

I would of agreed with you in any other situation but I don't think the police could of ignored this because they received a lot of complaints.

bigbr0ther 07-08-2008 06:32 AM

I don't understand how one can be arrested for exercising his right to free speech! Seriously, what kind of world are we living in?

Rory 07-08-2008 06:35 AM

I remember reading this sometime last year (when the claims were that the man was in America), on here as well, and I thought that was absolutely disgusting.

Now, I find out that the man intended to do no harm and it was just a fantasy? Who the hell dreams of a fantasy like that? There are some sick, sick people in this world.

People can't control what sort of fetishes they have. He doesn't hurt anyone by posting a gross story on the Internet. For him to be arrested for writing such a story is ridiculous. If we start making exceptions to free speech, that opens the door for more exceptions. Little by little the things we say will become more and more limited. Today it's a fetish story, tomorrow it's a political view.

I do understand your point of view, but would a sane man really think up a story about harming an innocent pop band and selling their body parts on eBay?

If that were his fetish, yes he would. If you're going to start limiting what sort of things people can post whose to decide what things are okay and which aren't?

I do understand your point of view, but would a sane man really suggest that slaves should be free, gays should be allowed to marry, or women should have a right to vote?

I know there's a difference between a fetish story and a political view (though the ladder seems much more harmful in many cases), but in both cases it is you thinking that something should be censored because you don't agree with it. You disagree with his writing that story and you disagree with him writing a political view.

dan121212 14-10-2008 10:25 PM

which site was it that posted it?

Jake! 15-10-2008 04:44 PM

In this country we have freedom of speech, so he hasn't done anything illegal. When JK Rowlin killed off Voldermort in a stor did you complain? If he acted upon it then it would be wrong, REALLY WRONG! Its a sick story, I ain't gonna lie, but he has done nothing to be arrested, otherwise turnin all your books where someone died and say goodbye to the authors of them.
Yes, he's obviously sick in the head for this story, but at the end of the day when the papers can write wahtever they want about who ever they wnt, the smae thing they have probablly done with this case then its ok for sick disgusting stories. And if you don't like it, don't readit. Its jus fiction, like I said if he acted on it then it would be illegal and would be so wrong. But for now itsharmless, frightening for the girls, but still harmless.
