Parents of new girl fear she will disgrace family



NEW girl Becki Seddiki's devout Muslim parents yesterday begged her to quit the show to avoid shaming them.

Ahmed, 81, and Fatima, 60, only found out she was its new star when told by the Daily Mirror.

The Moroccan couple watched horrified as she entered the house yesterday.

Fatima wailed at the screen in Arabic as Ahmed, his head in his hands, sobbed: "Please, I want her to stop this. This is a nice family and we do not want other people to see our daughter like this.

"I don't want to see her without her clothes on. I don't want to see her kissing or sleeping with boys." But the couple, of Holloway, North London, are in for another shock when they learn their daughter is bisexual.

Becki, 33, has kept it a secret from them and her brother says their English is too poor for them to have found out from news- papers or TV.

Taousik, 43, a musician also know as Sidi, said: "If they found out they'd be totally against it.

"Homosexuality's not allowed in their culture. Big Brother is immoral and I don't want her in there. Her appearance on this programme will embarrass the family."

And the singer and ex-belly dancer confirmed his fears within an hour of going into the house, when she revealed she had had a boob job.

Lifting her top, Becki - who came here from Morocco with her parents in 1980 - said: "They were helped along by a doctor."

Her arrival yesterday shocked the nine housemates. Big Brother had told them to wait in the lounge, then summoned the new girl to the Diary Room.

As she walked past Ahmed asked: "Becki?" Victor yelled: "******, I told you it was a stand-by. I told you it would be a woman as well!"

Daniel clapped and cheered but Michelle's jaw-dropped and she stared stony-faced, before taking Stuart to the Jacuzzi for a snog.

Becki later introduced herself with the words: "It's all right kids, I'm here to do a bit of tidying up." Afterwards she showed them photos of her family.

Viewers were told she loves toe-sucking and once starred in a Bovril ad. An insider said: "Becki is a wildchild and will definitely put the cat among the pigeons."

Before going in she said: "They need me in there....the world needs the opportunity."

If I remember, she's not the only one with upset parents. Closer to the beginning of BB, Michelle's parents said that her "fling" with Stuart was not going down to well with them. Family hey?
