shame it was Marco to go and not Michelle, i agree though that was a great interview and Marco and his mum slipping over was really funny.
I disagree, had the accident occured a foot or so in a certain direction it would have been more serious. This also involved someone who was not a participant.

That floor was dangerously slippery and in a normal work environment there would be warning yellow triangle cones.

The safer option should have been in a studio like the previous Big Brothers have been.

This is further evidence that the concept of "Duty of Care" is one that elludes C4 / Endemol

The Editor
H&S Journal
Ch4

Dear Sir/Madam,

May I say that I fully concur with this contributer.

In future, if any precipitation occurs (or is deemed to be imminent) all members of the public, contestants, staff and crew should be dressed in line with H&S guidelines: BB5{para: 70326}Sub.sect.II(as revised 07/06/04) - ammendment 44QT6/ff74[revised] which requires:

all present shall wear:

Helmet
Pac-a-Mac
Shin guards
Thigh waders
Ribbed condom
Full Safety harness
Padded underwear

(the only exception to this rule is Davina, who will be required to wear only the 4th item)

In the event of non-precipitous weather, H&S guidelines: BB5{para: 70326}Sub.sect.II(as revised 07/06/04) - ammendment 44QT6/ff74[revised] (B2) will apply:

all present shall wear:

Factor 153 Sun Guard
Sun Hat

(In the case of Davina, this will be in addition to {and not excepting} the requirement found above).

There has been far too much of this whimsicle disregard of basic H&S in so called 'reality TV shows' of late. It may well be appropriate to utilise (Guatanamo like) mind control/disorientation tactics upon captive housemates as their mental state appears to be unaffected by this (cf Kitten, Emma et al). However, there can be no possible excuse for allowing people (whose only experience of slippery surfaces runs to occasional mud wrestling, water slides, food covered lawns etc) to walk on damp sets without adequate precautions being enforced.

I remain

Yours quiveringly self-rightous

Mary Whitehouse III (Mr)

Having suffered a fall myself, these can be dangerous, nothing to joke about.

:nono:

Sorry about the fall Sticks. Gravity is a cruel mistress.

I agree the stage shud have have been rain proof or been indoors so not slippery:spin2:
