BB housemates prodded into new task

Moo-ving on from mincing Marco's exit from Big Brother, the remaining housemates are being transformed into cows and farmers.

The group were gearing up for a pastoral fancy dress challenge - with a nasty sting in the tale.

The contestants were being split into two teams with one group dressing up as cows to be guided round a course by the other group playing farmers.

But the cattle were to be blindfolded and the farmers were only able to direct them using a device giving off a small electric shock.

The cows would have to negotiate manure, rotten vegetables and egg hazards littering the course.

The prize money currently stands at £74,000 and £2,500 will be saved for every cow successfully guided to the cattle pen.

The latest bizarre challenge to face the housemates follows the eviction of Marco Sabba.

I've just got a Press Release about this

HOUSEMATES TO PLAY TRUST GAMES IN SATURDAY CHALLENGE

In today’s challenge (Saturday 3 July), the housemates are faced with Big Brother’s Trust Game where the housemates have to split into two teams – the farmers and the cattle. The farmers have to successfully guide their cattle around a course under timed conditions...but there are some shocking twists. The housemates can be seen taking part in their Trust Game LIVE on E4 at around 4pm and during Sunday night’s Channel 4 highlights show at 9pm. The challenge will be split into two parts.

Part 1:

One housemate will chosen to be the spokesperson for the challenge. They will not take part in the challenge itself. Their role will be to decide the pairings for the challenge, who will be farmers, and who will be cows.

The spokesperson will come to the Diary Room to confirm the pairings and roles.

Part 2;

The farmers and cows will dress accordingly and the cows will be blindfolded. The farmers will only be able to direct the cows using a device that gives off a small electronic shock. They must not speak to the cattle or use any other code to direct their cows.

One at a time, the farmers will get their cow into position (on all fours) and attempt to guide them to the cattle pen at the bottom of the garden within the time limit. Also in the course are manure, rotten vegetables and egg hazards for the cows to walk through.

The prize money currently stands at £74,000. £2,500 will be saved for every cow successfully guided to the cattle pen. The housemates will learn how much money remains at the end of the challenge

Old Big Brother had a farm..........

The housemates have undertaken another Challenge - and they've lost £2,500 but succeeded in saving £7,500 from their prize fund.

The fund now stands at £71,500.

Earlier the housemates were asked to choose a spokesperson (Dan), who was ushered to the Diary Room where he was told about the task, reports the Channel 4 Big Brother website.

http://www.ananova.com/images/web/109990.jpg

He had to divide the housemates into pairs - naming one a "farmer" and one a "cow."

Returning to his fellow incumbents Dan they told them there was a farmyard course in the garden, and the "farmers" would have to guide their "cows" around the course, using a cattle prod!

The gang were also informed there was some farmyard-type muck within the course confines.

First up to undertake the challenge were laughing cow Nadia, sporting elbow and kneepads, with farmer Michelle in a flat cap and tweeds.

Nadia warned Michelle before they kicked off: "Listen you bitch, you better only touch me once!"

But Michelle jabbed her several times with the cattle prod, giving Nadia a mini shock that resulted in her trademark cackle.

Once Nadia was safely corralled, Jason and Ahmed were up. Ahmed had insisted he and Jason switch roles earlier, saying he didn't want to be the cow because he wasn't keen on wearing a blindfold.

He wasn't shy of using the shock device though, stinging Jason regularly. Victor, who was up next, asked, worriedly, "Does it hurt?"

"Nah," said Jason.

With Jason safely in the pen, Stuart had a go. Shell prodded him at the start and rubbed his shoulder in apology. "She-ell!" protested the watching Michelle.

While Stu didn't enjoy the shocks, he skillfully avoided the manure to make it to the pen.

Finally, Victor got on his knees and scrambled through the course. Every shock elicited a scream, much to the amusement of the rest of the gang.

He also got doused in dirt and managed to lose his trousers in the process.

Big Brother then announced the results. Pairs one, three and four had all succeeded and therefore saved £7,500.

But pair two, Jason and Ahmed failed, probably due to them deviating from the roles Dan had assigned them.

Ahmed apologised to everyone for losing £2,500 from their prize fund.

"That was grim," summed up Victor as he headed for a much needed shower.
