Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging [spoilers]
 

After deciding on choosing X-Files, we end up with Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging.

Not my choice, but it was either that or see Wall-E.

Upon entry you could tell that we had chosen the wrong film.

Six 19 year olds amongst a mass of 12-15 year olds. Why did we have to choose this film?

But surprisingly, it turned out alright. Felt real pervy at times watching it as it's a bunch of 14 year old girls just trying to figure out "love" in their own ways. i just shut my eyes and looked at Leanne who was sitting to my right in anguish.

Quite a few funny moments, and then it started getting just completely unrealistic towards the end in addition to throwing in movie cliche after cliche. 18 year olds going out with 14 year olds, and it wasn't like they looked older (although I've had my share of going out with older girls when I was that age, it just seems weird now thinking about it being 19)...the whole dad getting a random promotion just because the main girl cries....the builder being gay as the reason for the mother not having an affair...

The movie band "Stiff Dylans" sounded pretty good. Leanne, the stereotypical blonde was rather miffed at how the film was slightly against the whole "slim, big boobed, blonde" girl in favour of ...george... If I was robbie, I wouldn't have dumped the blonde one.

I liked the film, it was good. But I agree, I went in with a friend and there was an explosion of 12 - 14 year old girls.
