Sling Shot Stu

Stuart has been mourning the loss of his cowboy hat, but telling Big Brother how the lows he's reached are driving him to new highs.

"The past couple of days I've been through a bit of a struggle," he said this morning. Not only has he lost his hat and his Jonny Horizontal alter ego, he's also discovered the microphone under his bed, listening in on his late night whispers with Michelle.

"I've hit the sling shot low," he told Big Brother, before explaining, "You come down as far as the sling shot will go. It's full of energy but that's when the ball bearing flies up. I've found a renewed strength from the fact I've experienced the sling shot low. I feel fantastic."

Stuart revealed his positive outlook took a temporary dent, but now he's back with a smile on his face. "I shall not falter from this new sling shot directed path," he said, struggling to find the words to express himself.

Up close and personal

The loss of privacy that comes with being in the Big Brother House continues to trouble Stu by the sound of it. Particularly when it comes to his close relationship with Michelle.

"I can't talk about feelings," he said. "There are things I want to say to her and nobody else."

Stuart went on to say he expected his relationship with Michelle to continue outside and that he was looking forward to seeing her without being watched.

When pressed on what he'd like to say to her, he was characteristically unspecific.

"...things you would say to your girl."

Thanks for clearing that up, Stu...

Stu is obviously not being himself in there and all these personas he has are him just hiding behind something! We want real genuine people in the house, get Stu out!

Hooly One 09-07-2004 11:30 AM

Yep, he doesn't want to show his true self

Lance 09-07-2004 11:31 AM

He must be joking if he thinks the media will let him and Michelle alone outside if they want to stay together, but then again its up to them, they can lie low or they can do the media circus. Wonder which it will be :hugesmile::hugesmile: bearing in mind Michelle wants to be a glamour model.

As for Stuart - fancy getting upset about the burning of a cowboy hat - it had already been taken away from him. Grow up Stuart.

As Victor (I think) said during nominations there are four people who are cruising along in house trying not to get nominated by not annoying people. Stuart, along with Shell, is the chief of these. Unfortunately he is stopping any personality that he may have from showing and is in danger of being seen as being boring and dispensible.

!Get over it Stu,the cowboy hat is gone and not coming back! And finally we can stop listening to the endless petition signing and campaigning on BBLB to Save Sherriff Stu!Finally...I thought that would go on all series!

BusyBee 09-07-2004 12:57 PM

Glad to hear there is someone else who was really getting fed up with the Save Sheriff Stu campaign. Come on Dermot you can do better.

As I have said grow up Stuart - its gone, get on with life.

Lance 09-07-2004 12:59 PM

Agreed:thumbs:

Awwwww, your all cruel. Don't be so hard on the poor long suffering chicken.

It's bad enough that he has hitched his star to that of the house slapper; got plucked (sorry, shaved); found out that 3 or 4 'A' levels doesn't rate all that highly in the intelligence stakes; without him having to lose his lil cowboy hat as well.

I wonder what kind of a person we would have seen if he hadn't been devoured by Michelle at the start. I suspect he's not so much dull as neutered.

He has certainly shown himself in a good light a few times. Calming Victor down during the World Heavyweight Foot Stamping Match with Emma; and, especially, by the way in which he ensured that Shell got the news of her Graduation Party first.

She Devil 09-07-2004 02:21 PM

What gets me is the fact that he was very upset about the extra microphone that was installed. When they signed up for BB they signed to say that they have wavered their rights to privacy

Lance 09-07-2004 02:23 PM

What gets me about him is that he is afraid to say No directly to Michelle without beating around the bush about it!

Hooly One 09-07-2004 02:24 PM

True She Devil

Lance 09-07-2004 02:24 PM
