Sara just got a letter from home.
 

Her sister has handwritten a letter to Sara! Remember Sara thought her family had disowned her, and apaprently her mum has been watching too.

Why would it boost her popularity?

It gives her a story. A letter from her sister and mum, who Sara thought had abandoned her.

She never thought her sister disowned her, I've heard her speak of her in such a way that she still very much in contact with her loads of times.

I can't see how it would increase her popularity by a great margin, but we'll see - it depends how much of the HL show is taken by it.

Why didn't they just get her family to write one to her when the letters were sent in a few weeks back?

I remember that, and someone in his family had cancer if I remember correctly, that was so emotional. I hope they show this because everyone think Sara's an underdog and just a flirt when she's not.

I bet you they don't show it still though. Although Big Brother have been showing her in a good light at long last, and letting the highlight only watchers see how nice, funny and cool she is.

Of course it'll make her more popular, she gets air time and people will empathise with her. Just like Lisa will become more popular because of the proposal. These two deserve much more focus and I'm glad they'll be getting it!
