Rachel: School Daze
 Don't get me wrong - I love Rachel. She's so friendly and so positive and I hope she wins (especially as it'll annoy Luke, Bex, Nicole and Rex so much). But come on – I don’t know whether to laugh or cry when I hear a trainee teacher reveal that:
1. She doesn’t know how many days there are in a year. 2. She doesn’t know if a potato’s a vegetable… 3. …and thinks a tomato is one. 4. She thinks London’s a village. 5. She’s never head of Boris Johnson. 6. She doesn’t know what a walrus is. 7. She thinks Belgium is a city. 8. She doesn’t know what condiments are. 9. She doesn't know what the word "peril" means (thanks, bbE). Rachel, you’re a great gal but come on – get it sorted! Our children’s futures are in your hands, lol! :conf2: |
In all fairness before the olympic flag big, i had heard of boris johnson but didnt know who he was at all
but yeh she one of the techers that read out the book lol. She smart in her own way lol |

Potatoes are a vegetable arent they? Tomato is a fruit, I know that because my mam told me Who's Boris Johnson? What are condiments? I dont even know some of them either, but I would love Rachel to win |
Errrm I know everything on there apart from condiments?
People are inteligent in different ways, some people have great memories for facts, others have great creative streaks and some are very academic or philosiphical (If that's a word). |
"Who's Boris Johnson?" Would that be the Boris Johnson who's the Mayor of London, occasional TV presenter, Tory MP, shadow Education Minister, former editor of the Spectator, frequent topic of controversial headline news and all-round media celebrity? Nope, sorry, never heard of him! "What are condiments?" I've no idea. What exactly are salt and pepper? I've never heard of them either! Thanks for asking, though. God forbid you should bother to look it up in a dictionary! "People are inteligent [sic] in different ways, some people have great memories for facts, others have great creative streaks and some are very academic or philosiphical [sic] (If [sic] that's a word)." Yes. But she's a trainee schoolteacher! P.S: I can confirm that “philosiphical” is NOT a word. Hope that helps. :pat: |
she didnt know what peril meant either!
