Amazon question

I got an Amazon voucher for my birthday and I'm trying to get as much as I can. I was just wondering if anyone has bought 'Used & New' and they've been absolutly fine? Cos I always buy new as I'm slighty wary.

Thanks!

Personally I wouldn't risk but I'm sure their just fine.

I buy used most of the time.Depends on the seller really, most of the time they sell stuff in good condition, because some people use the item like once or twice and then resell it.

I always buy used and new, it's MUCH better, they're always in very good quality. Just go for "Very Good" or "Like New" or "New". Best not to go under those!

Thank you! I think I might just risk it then... My postage is going to be ridiculous.

*puts hand up* If I have 18 items(including 5 books) at 84.44 how much for postage be? Cos its not letting me pay with my 100 pound voucher. Damn postage.

Ooh, all depends from where it's coming from and what the items are. I would say maybe around 40 - 50 pounds/euro!

Well usually the postage thingy costs around £2,(£1.99 to be exact) so around £40+.

Princess 28-08-2008 02:55 AM

Not likely. Well I suppose it depends on what the items are, how old they are, where there coming from, so maybe but I would count on at least 30 at a minimum. But you can find all that out when you pay and then if it's too much don't go threw with the order.

Princess 28-08-2008 03:03 AM

Oh ffs,why can't they tell me the postage before I fully pay? Then I can figure out what I have to take off! I now have 15 items at 70 pounds.

It should say it before you pay. The page right before you pay where you review your whole order should say how much it will cost and then underneath the total it will say the postage.

Princess 28-08-2008 03:16 AM

I havn't got to that bit, because I put the voucher code in and it said it wasn't enough and theres no credit cards around to add the extra. I've given up because I've got all annoyed! Try again tomorrow.

Thanks a million for your help!
