Michelle & Stuart.

Do you think the relationship will last outside the BB house?

LEE 19-07-2004 07:07 PM

As I have said a few times before, it will last a couple of months -just long enough for a few tabloid/magazine stories and a free holiday from Ok or Hello.

Very true! I can see them in EVERY magazine going for a few months.

ickle04 19-07-2004 07:35 PM

True.

Really wish Stu would toughen up a little. He acts like a total gimp at times.

Mike 19-07-2004 07:41 PM

Yeah i think it will last a couple of months and then hopefully Stu will see sense and realise shes to bossy and shes not letting him have his life.

rachb 19-07-2004 07:41 PM

My feeling is that they won't last outside the house. But I have been wrong before(Lee & Sophie)
I was right about Helen and Paul though from about week 3 I could see those two together and I knew that Spencer & Kate would never end up together so I'm really not sure about these two.
I think it depends on how they react when they get out.If they are sensible and take some quiet private time away from the press then maybe they will be ok.But somehow I don't see Michelle wanting to do that:rolleyes::rolleyes:

bananarama 19-07-2004 08:17 PM

If stuart doesn't grow up it won't last inside the house either.

I don't think there is much chance of it being more than a few one night stands.

Stuart is to imature for a girl like Michelle.....Love her hate her at least she knows what she wants and goes for it.

Stuart is still at the satge of cow boys and indians and thinks girls are something that father xmas brings......

Romantic Old Bird 19-07-2004 08:23 PM

Stuart is indeed immature, but at least he stood his ground on the wedding task.I think he is entitled to be immature at 20 really!

Michelle is terribly insecure, and I think she still has the 'fat lass' mentality. I speak from experience! She needs constant reassurance that she is desirable.

I have a suspicion that nice guy Stuart will try to be gentle with her, but she is so stifling he will probably make like a banana and split asap.

Kore 20-07-2004 12:50 AM

maybe stuart will go with shell, and they can make bread all day!

Sticks 20-07-2004 06:55 AM

A lot of people were sceptical about Helen and Paul, even Paul's own father.

Somehow I suspect at the present moment, C4 / Endemol meddling may have scuppered that one. (Does anyone see the echos of the meals for two in the wedding task)

C4/Endemol just can not let things progress at their normal pace and now it looks like they have ruined it.

(I will vote on this when I see how the fall out has been later today.)

bananarama 20-07-2004 10:30 AM

Yes I agree Michelle is insecure. Stuart is a very imature 20 year old and yes he is entitled to be imature at that age. But there is a limit and should not be acting like a five year old who can't express his emotions because he doesn't understand them.

Stuart stood his groung like a stubborn little boy would do when wanting to be rebelious. He did not stand his ground as an adult man of 20 should be able to. What he can't do is explain in joined up form why he decides what ever he decides. In this respect he will hurt and insult the insecure Michelle. This is what makes me angry with him.

JC 20-07-2004 10:33 AM

I think Stu's main problem is, he can't find the words to express what he feels to Michelle without her twisting them immediately into an insult about her and getting all offended.

bananarama 20-07-2004 10:43 AM

I am afraid Stuart doesn't have any words long enough for Michelle to twist. Even if she did or could twist his words a grown man with a personality would deal with it.....Exuses won't change the nature of the beast......:bawling:

JC 20-07-2004 10:46 AM

Well, either angle you look at it, she's just too strong for him. If they stayed together, he would always be her whipping boy. He would be better off with someone like Shell, Michelle would be better off with someone like Victor.

bananarama 20-07-2004 10:55 AM

Yeah. You have a point there.......:spin2:

Julia L 20-07-2004 03:39 PM

I'm unsure, so I've put maybe. They both like each other but Stu needs to mature a bit and make up his mind whether he really wants her or not. They could stay together, they could split up - who knows?

BusyBee 20-07-2004 04:11 PM

I think there is an attraction between them and they do care about each other, but as has been said before life outside the house is not the same as in it. At the moment they are cocooned, but when they get out they will have to face the media and public attention.

As I have said before couples who have survived have taken the 'less publicity' route than the 'as much publicity as we can get route'.

I think Michelle will get fed up very quickly with Stuart's immature ways as soon as a more mature specimen comes her way. Stuart has been useful to her in there, but that girl is street wise and out of the house the attraction will fade. But I could be wrong - I too didnt think Lee and Sophie would last.

bananarama 20-07-2004 04:28 PM

Yesterday I heard briefly michelle pressing Stuart on how much time they can spend together out of the house. Stuart was explaining about the study time he needs at uni.

I don't think a none tactile 20 year old in the midst of studies can satisfy a girl like Michelle who is craving for a tactile relationship on a regular basis.

Once they have done their photo shoots then I think it will fizzle out. Anyway I think Michelle might get "Glamour" nodd nodd type work which will scare the living day light out of Stuart......

ickle04 20-07-2004 04:58 PM

Q, Why did the chicken cross the road???

A, Coz Michelle told him to, ok pet. :colour: :elephant:

Scuzz 20-07-2004 06:18 PM

Aint read any of the other post so dont know if any1 has mentioned this. I think stu wants to get away now. Aint wont work out side he can show his true feelings out there. I think he isnt saying in side the jhouse either he is scared or thinks it will draw hate from the public towards him and to be honest if he wasn't with mich he wouldn't be in the house this far i dont think.

She Devil 20-07-2004 10:31 PM

I agree Scuzz.

OMG did you see it tonight. Stuart really didn't want to do that under the table.

If that had been a man forcing a woman like Michelle did on tonights show then that would of been classed as rape. The poor sole was worried about upsetting her after the wedding preformance, but it was so clear from his expression that he didn't want to do anything.

Kore 20-07-2004 10:55 PM

im sure stu would rather go under the table with shell:laugh:

She Devil 20-07-2004 10:56 PM

Stuart would rather not do anything with anybody. He has more morals than to have sex on national TV. Trouble is Michelle doesn't know how to take NO as an answer

Kore 20-07-2004 10:58 PM

i agree with that, but do you agree that i think that he wishes he was with shell not michelle.
i think he enjoys makin bread with shell, and then michelle barges in being jealous

She Devil 20-07-2004 11:01 PM

Yes. He has more in comman with Shell, intellectually. If Shell didn't have a fella on the outside I recon she would i've like Stu too.
