All in the Title!?!

What does everyone think??

AlexBigBrother 02-09-2008 11:30 PM

hopefully it will never end,
imagine

welcome to big brother 84... day 84

Ross 02-09-2008 11:30 PM

It will still go on I think.

I hope so.

It's still a huge show for Channel 4.

Loukas 02-09-2008 11:40 PM

I guess.. But what are the chances?? lol

Tom 03-09-2008 12:22 AM

Yeah, it still performs really well for Channel 4. The channel average is 8%, 16% watch Big Brother so I'd say its likely.

MrGaryy 03-09-2008 12:26 AM

I think it's very likely it will. It is C4's biggest money make and pretty much keeps the channel alive. Without BB, C4 wouldn't have half as much funding for all the little niche shows. If BB were to be cancelled you could pretty much say goodbye to shows like Countdown, How Clean Is Your House, 10 Years Younger, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, ect. Plus C4 don't seem to have any apparent replacement for for it, with the closest being Shipwrecked and thats only weekly therefore not going to pull in even half of the profit BB does!

omg i hope they do and i will deffo audition its like my dream to go on it! haha

BB wont last forever, there will be time when it will just have to stop! And when its time for new experimental reality shows... I hope it ends in the next 3 years if im honest! BB's best moments was when it was still an experiment and I would like to see a new type of show out there...

WHA - ?!

16%!? That seems too high. Are you sure that's "of the public" and not just "of members of the public who are watching TV during that time slot?"

Spike 06-09-2008 11:03 PM

If the next 2 series can get a similar share and number of viewers I can't see it going anywhere
Its so cheap for the amount of air time and makes huge profits too.
If BB was axed, C4 wouldn't have enough money to make shows which get them their PSB grant meaning C4 could go out of business. It seems so weird for one show to be holding up a channel but thats the way it is

It's C4 highest rated programe, and they would be fool's not to renew it.
