Google Chrome

Is anyone else using the new web browser from google?

I am loving it.. It's fast and a much better layout than IE or any other browser.. Also its got a spell checker which works for every site.

Spell check is a typical feature nowadays. I read their comic book and I can see the benefits but I don't trust Google enough to put their software on my computer, nor do I wish to bother right now.

Safari has a spell checker... I think only Internet Explorer doesn't. Honestly if it wasn't for the spell checker my posts would be so much more different! lmao!

Is it safe to use though?

It says it is in Beta test and I was told, never run software on your machine unless you have regular total backups of your hard drive.

Is it a virus magnet like IE

_Tom_ 04-09-2008 07:55 AM

I don't like it! :spin2:

I use firefox ... google chrome seems to handle pages with lots of pics better .. eg ch4 bb gallery pages of the hms. In firefox my pc get choopy when I view those pages... but chrome does a better job ... but early days ..

I don't like it, It looks too simple

Spike 08-09-2008 05:10 PM

I am really impressed by it, much better than IE and Firefox.
I love Safari and Chrome is up there with it, I am undecided which one to use now

Mrluvaluva 08-09-2008 05:12 PM

There was a story in the paper today about a flaw in the terms and conditions about privacy. Apparently now they have fixed that now though.

Hugo 08-09-2008 09:03 PM

I just use IE, simplest for me =D
