The Big Brother housemates were given the chance to get into shape when an array of exercise equipment appeared in the house.

The contestants are better known for sunbathing than doing anything energetic but some showed an interest in the assorted balls, hoola hoops and weights, which producers told them had been placed in the building.

Muscleman Jason said "Aaaaah" when they were discovered in a storeroom and he was soon pumping iron in the garden.

But Stuart was instantly worried, and asked, "Why have they done that? ... I just find it suspicious that we got it for free."

On Saturday, the contestants lost another £3,000 as they flunked a celebrity knowledge test.

Each housemate had to guess the identity of a celebrity voice and was given 10 "yes or no" questions.

Dan, Shell and Nadia correctly guessed comedian Jim Bowen, astronomer Sir Patrick Moore and pop duo The Cheeky Girls respectively.

But Jason, Michelle and Stuart failed to recognise magician Paul Daniels, Chas and Dave, who wrote hit song Snooker Loppy, and self-styled breakfast television saviour, Roland Rat.

The total prize fund has now dropped to £53,500.

Jason has mourned the eviction on Friday night of his fellow "Jungle Cat" Victor, 23, and stated his fellow housemates were not worth the bother.
