Oi! Man! You\'re obsolete now! kkthnx bye
SCIENTISTS in England say they may have found a way to produce sperm from a woman's bone marrow, effectively cutting men out of the reproductive cycle.
Newcastle upon Tyne University says the stem cell research focuses on so-called 'mother' cells, which can transform into any other type of cell. A professor from the university has applied for permission to start experiments and could be doing so within months. New Scientist magazine said the process could transform a woman's bone marrow to sperm through the addition of certain chemicals and vitamins. Theoretically, a lesbian couple could both be biological parents to a new child after using their own bone marrow to create sperm. Critics say the research has not yet been tested, and would still be years away from being a viable treatment for infertility. If the treatmant was ever used there would be even less men contributing to the reproduction pool, as the absence of a Y-chromosome in the female sperm would make it impossible to create male children. _________________________________________ Real boost to morale to think our side of the speices would go bye, byes Stupid experiment IMO, Leave birth the natural way, why feck with nature? |
I think the majority of women would rather have sex than have their bones operated on for some make-shift sperm.
|
Making a baby in a lab wouldn't be as fun as the natural method though
|
oooooo how lovely and unnatural.
so a female could be mother and father to their child? aceeeeeeee :) |

Women could not live on the earth if it wasn't for men, end of story.
(and we couldn't live without women) |
You see....
this is why we shouldnt be trying stuff like this and being smart. |
Great idea, all women have to do is have their bones cut open.
|
Think i'll stick to the conventions.

Men have been obsolete for quite a while. You don't even need sperm theoretically to produce a viable zygote.
Nevertheless, I'd still like to have a part in the future of my child the usual way that they come about. (no sooner than 10 years time I hope) |
I will be sticking to cock like..
|
That's stupid.
Interesting but stupid. I'll stick with my bf kthnx. We can be male together. |
