BB Star Flees Double murder!
 

BIG Brother beauty Kate Lawler was in shock last night after two young women were murdered in her luxury apartment block.

The bodies of the victims, in their early 20s, were found in their blood-drenched flat just yards from the reality star’s home.

The pair were killed in a “sustained” attack and blood was found in several rooms of the apartment in the upmarket Jupiter Buildings in Birmingham. TV host Kate, 28, lives in the same complex where apartments can sell for up to £500,000.

A 28-year-old man from the city was being quizzed last night after being arrested on suspicion of murder.

He was seized as he boarded a ferry at Dover. Police said he was known to the victims.

The women, who have not been identified, were found on Monday night by the concierge after their families raised the alarm.

Det Ch Supt David Mirfield said: “Both girls were victims of a sustained and violent attack. We believe one or more weapons were used. There was no indication they had been restrained during the attack.”

Both bodies were still inside the block last night as forensic teams examined the scene. Terrified Kate bolted from her flat to present a show on Kerrang! radio.

It was not known if she would return but police insisted she would not be at risk as it was an “isolated incident”.

The Jupiter complex is a newly-built development, off Broad Street, the city’s main strip of bars and clubs.

Resident Simon Crisp, 29, said: “It is hard to believe that a murder would take place here.”

Kate was last night too upset to comment. But pals said she had been left terrified.

One said: “When she came into work she was completely pale.

“Kate loves that flat and cannot believe something so horrific has happened on her doorstep.”

Back in 1997 or 1998 somebody on the floor below my floor died under suspicious circumstances.

So of course the morning after I was interviewed by the police who were interviewing everybody, they could have said Sticks flees from murder tower block on shopping spree
