No Disrespect, But...

Quote:

After several attempts to draw Jason out of his solitary bubble, Dan finally succeeded in getting the Scot to join in with other housemates. But he may have wished he hadn't bothered...

Housemates had repeatedly tried to get Jason involved when he went solo after being released from the shackles earlier today, but the brooding Scot was having none of it.

Even when Dan tried to grab him and fling him over his shoulder, this time with help from Michelle and Shell, he wouldn't play ball.

"It's a male pride thing," he explained, after wrestling Dan to the ground, "I only do certain things."

"Well somebody has to be the spoilsport in the House," complained Dan.

"You just want to feel his cock," said straight-talking Nadia.

But the little battle did get Jason talking at least, even if it was to complain about being with the other housemates.

"I couldn't have coped being stuck around the Get Along Gang for another two days. No offence, but I need my own space," he told Dan and Shell. "Yous just all get along."

"When Victor went, that was it for me," he said.

Dan and Shell though were well aware he had missed the Slick Man but hoped for a return to the Jason that first entered the House.

"No disrespect but... the people that are left here are not people that I would really..." he trailed off rather than be brutally frank. But he did make it clear it wasn't personal.

He just didn't have anything in common with anyone and wasn't going to pretend he did.

Shell assured him that, "You're really good company, when you want to join in."

But Jason didn't care. "I don't want to be rude..." he said.

"OK, let him be rude. You go back to pacing the garden," said Dan.

I saw that bit. Dan looked genuinely hurt, even though the quote above was delivered in trademark theatrical campness. I think he thought he and Jason were friends and would probably stay that way after BB.

To be fair, I think most of us thought they were friends.

just shows how false and shallow Jason is

I think that Jason isn't false as he is calling it as he sees it at the moment, which is a shame as the two of them were good fun and hopefully the two of them can have a bit of banter in the last few weeks.

false and shallow?
dont know where you get that from.
making things up again by any chance

DanFanDanGo 29-07-2004 09:34 AM

Kore 29-07-2004 09:36 AM

Yes he has ruined it for himself in a way as this week he could have just changed the way he acted around the housemates, just got on with them despite his feelings for them. At the moment all Jason's doing is sealing his eviction next week! I'm hoping he'll perk up a bit if he stays in this week but I think Jason's ready to leave now.

Kore 29-07-2004 09:50 AM

agreed:blush:

Jason and Dan were good mates for the first couple of weeks, up until Vanessa left.

I also watched the conversation last night and Dan did look hurt.

Dan shouldn't even bother including Jason from now on. Just let Jason carry on brooding, it's what he is best at.

I'd say by distancing himself, Jay is being anything but false. If he had gotten all chummy with everyone this week, then it would be fair to accuse him of falseness. It is a shame about him and Dan as those to are (were?) good fun when they were bantering, but I guess it probably stems from Vic's dislike of Dan. Jay was closer to Vic than he was Dan.

Mike 29-07-2004 07:19 PM

I agree, Jay has done a good job not getting involved because we know he does'nt really get on with them so whats the point in pretending and like JC said everyone would be quick to call him false then.

Jason_Luva 29-07-2004 07:34 PM

If Jay wants to hang out with himself then leave him to it, its not like hes doing anyone any harm by it
