i know genuinely poor people who would be grateful for £80 when they're only a week away from pay day. some reasonably well off people would be happy with that too! and they wouldn't go on chat forums begging for a top-up, lol!

annie you'll have to budget. First get the bills paid. And then use the remainder for food. But be sensible. Sacrifice the luxuries for one week. Bye own brand stuff, it not that bad.

and smartbird it not that easy to snap out of it. £80 is not a lot for a week if you have bills. I have to use 10 for water, 10 for electric, 10 for gas, 10 for phone, then 25 for travel. meaning if I had £80 i would be left for £15 for food and other stuff. Not a lot really.

2. Yeah I suppose I wouldnt want to be in your league, god knows what I would pick up. I dont tend to play in the smaller/cheaper leagues anyway.

if she's with an electric/water/'phone company that'll cut her off that quickly, she should switch asap!

it's not the fact they cpuld cut her off, they generally take a while to do that, but it's the fines that could be incurred for late payment. Or she could be on a meter, meaning they would be cut straightaway.

Thanks for the advise babe, its probably worse this month cos i spent all my holiday on holiday and then came back and was like oh crap i forgot about everything!! It was so silly of me. *slaps wrists*
