Louis Vuitton

Im thinking about buying myself a LV wallet what do you think. does any one else have any Louis Vuitton stuff.

The wallet is like £200. what do you think, too much for a wallet? thats only one of the cheap ones. the more expensive ones are like £600

I love Louis Vuitton and to I would kill to have a bag.

Yes.... you should!!!!!!

Lauren 30-09-2008 10:29 AM

I'd say why spend the extra when you can get basically the same thing (minus the brand name) for so much cheaper.

But then I really hate splashing out.
Not that I can.

ooooooo i want a Louis Vuitton. but its just so expensive. they have some stuff on ages but i dont wanna take the chance of getting a fake.

Lauren 30-09-2008 10:33 AM

If you really want it then get it. You earn money to spend it on things you want.

Personally I'd feel guilty if I bought it and wouldn't get the joy from it, but it sounds like you really do want it, haha.

I'm trying to hint at Red for christmas but seeing as we've just spent a fortune on a doggy I dont think thats gonna happen.

Maybe for my next milestone birthday...... its ages away but its worth the wait

If you haven't splashed out in a while then I say treat yourself:laugh:

I dont feel guilty on buying nice things at all unless it means no money but then I dont buy it.

A Louis Vuitton wallet will never date and go out of style.

Benjamin 30-09-2008 10:42 AM

HELL NO!

£200 on a wallet if you are rich.

When I am rich, then I would buy that, but £200 at the moment could get me half way to Australia, which I would get much more satisfaction out of (only cos I love travelling)

supernoodles! 30-09-2008 12:26 PM

yeah go for it why the hell not if you`ve got the money:bigsmile:treat your self.A good quality, expensive designer wallet like that will mean you get your moneys worth becuase you could use it for like the next 10 years.200 isn`t that much anyway i mean your wallet is something you use like every single day

King 30-09-2008 12:54 PM

I don't even think LV is that well designed anymore; it's boring. But go for what you want.

Legend 30-09-2008 01:24 PM

I personally wouldn't spend more than a tenner on a wallet, the one I've got now is nice enough, a black leather one from the catalogue and it does the same job as the Louis Vuitton one, plus, unless you want to be a walking target to muggers, you're hardly going to be showing it off are you? £200 is a fair bit of money, you could do quite a bit with it, and I just think spending that much on a wallet is ridiculous, but it's your money, just make sure you won't regret it afterwards.

I spent £110 on a pair of Armani jeans once and regretted it once I wore them, you could barely see the logo anyway, and they looked pretty identical to my £30 H&M ones bar the logo.

supernoodles! 30-09-2008 01:36 PM

you can tell the difference in quality from a £10 wallet compared to a £200 one though, not saying theres anything wrong with spending less but thats why most people choose to spend more, its not always about logos:spin:

Yeah but to be fair, mine is kept in my pocket unless I'm buying something and I personally couldn't care less if the cashier can see the difference in my wallet to the next guys Louis Vuitton one, but that's just me. Plus, like I said in another thread, I don't take care of things, so I wouldn't dare waste that much on a wallet that I could easily lose.

Tom 30-09-2008 01:48 PM

I actually agree with Legend (for a change), its only a wallet and most people just think they look the same anyway (material wise) so it doesn't really matter?

I spent about £25 on mine and its just plain but still looks good. It does its job. I think there are better things you can spend your money on, but if you really want it then get it ...

supernoodles! 30-09-2008 01:57 PM

it depends on the person really ,see id rather have a very expensive handbag as opposed to a top of the range tv

Thats different though, a bag doesn't just go in your pocket until you need it

Shaun 30-09-2008 01:59 PM

£200 for a wallet!? Goodness me. I only spent £20...

i would spend that on a purse as well though i just used bag as an expample becuase i have spent that amount on a bag before but not a purse,my purse was only about 15 quid i think from river island.

melanie 30-09-2008 03:01 PM

If you really want it, get it. It's your money and it's going to be spent one way or another.

Annie 30-09-2008 03:21 PM

Everyone loves a little designer! I say yes! But thats only cos I live and breathe out of the happiness you get from buying something designer that you will keep.

I have a LV hold all and bag.. all together about £2500 worth. Thats just in LV. Its totally worth it and when you take your wallet out to pay for anything you will just be like yeah this cashier bitch is staring at my wallet!

If you can afford it go for it now.. its a better to save though cos then you think it out properly.

Good luck though..

I hope you get it! hehehehehe

Locke. 30-09-2008 03:23 PM

Go to poundland, much cheaper.
