Soft drinks giant Coca-Cola is to end sales of its Vanilla Coke and Vanilla Diet Coke in the UK from early 2006, despite only launching two years ago.

Instead it is to replace them with Diet Coke With Cherry to add to its existing Diet Coke With Lemon and Diet Coke With Lime flavours in the UK.

Coca-Cola now expects to maintain three fruit flavours in the Diet Coke range.

Analysts say the firm is trying to lure those turned off sugary soft drinks and looking for diet or health beverages.

Its the best drink ever, cant believe they dont sell it in the UK anymore :sad:

Awwww I loved this drink, it was such a babe. I don't see why they discontinued it. It was too nice.

It was vile.

it was pretty vile
i used to work in a restaurant and we had coca cola floats on the menu (coke with a dollop of vanilla icecream) which tastes quite similar

Whatever happened to Coca Cola with Lemon? Is that still around?

The lime on is nice though, the cheery one is a bit 'meh' though

Coca-Cola Vanilla was awesome, much better than Dr. Pepper. I can't believe I'm debatng over this.
