Oh My God! This situation is so messed up!
 

I'm using code names for safety reasons!

Right so I know this guy, who I was like really good friends with until we both began to like the same girl. He became really immature about it and now we're like frenemies.

I was like really good friends with this girl and I told her that he liked her but she didn't believe me, (I think she was in denial really, he's not exactly Jude Law). Anywhoo that was all last year.

Two weeks ago a friend of mine told me this story about him. The story was:

Last year in religon, we were playing some game where you had to hold hands and he was holding hands with Best Girlfriend and got a boner.

So my friend told Best Girlfriend (who I'm still like really good friends with) and I was like "I told you he liked you!"

So whatever. Then, this year there's this new girl in our who's like totally in love with Boner Boy. We were friends with her and we had said passingly how we didn't like him. SO then she comes up to us and said "I don't know why you don't like him, he's so sound" and I thought of the story my friend told me. So I looked over to Best Girlfriend and said to New Girl, "You don't know him like we do . . . he gets easily excited!". I was joking with Best Girlfriend, not bitching about Boner Boy.

So New Girl goes and tells him what I said and the nest day, New Girl, Boner Boy and some other guy comes up to me and asked me to come over to them, cos they needed to talk to me. So I said that they could talk to me here. So the other guy says, "Why have you been spreading rumours about Boner Boy?" and I'm like, what?!?! I ask him whats he on about and say to name one thing I've said about him. He says, "Something about getting excited?" I look over to Best Girlfriend and we just burst out laughing. That remark I made about him was totally insignificant but New Girl had made it into such a drama! Th other guy tells me that I'm "sick" and they walk away.

So now they're all mad with me and Best Girlfriend and constantly bitching about me!

Is he really not Jude Law. LMAO

Anyway, I think you should just ignore it and wait until it blows over, stuff like that always blows over and everyone forgets about it.
It happened to me when I was in school all the time.

Well I don't see why it was necessary to tell her that detail? So he had a moment in which he was exhilarated so to speak when she held his hand, it could happen to anyone. No need to go trashing his reputation.

stick posters round the school saying "boner boy loves new girl and best girlfriend likes cake" on them :) :thumbs:

Stuff them, other friends would see it as a joke, and wouldn't be so immature. Just get on with the true friends and others will come naturally. BTW, the story is jokes though.

I thought of more ideas

1. Do a Dennis BB9 - picturegate
2. Do a Grace BB7 -watergate
3. Ignore it
4. Bitch back
5. Think of a dirtier rumour to spread about them

Trashed reputation? Hardly! I made a joke with my friend who already knew about it.

Its just a harmless joke, your mates need to grow up no offense.

Tell me about it, one guy in particular, the one who called me "sick" has a bad case of paranoia yet he is one of THE bitchiest people I've ever met.

The thing is, i don't mind if people own up to themselves. At least me and my friend know that at time we can be nasty. But people like New Girl and Sick Boy try to make us all believe how innocent they are.

New Girl on vocals
Best Girlfriend on guitar
Boner Boy on bass
Sick Boy on drums

Yeah, in front of the girl who came up and asked why you didn't like him? It's obviously gotten around, so yeah it basically is trashing his reputation - "meaningless" joke or not.

People like that are sad. Don't worry, real friends come naturally instead of bullshitters.
