X Factor’s Daniel Evans has posted an angry reply to a Mirror.co.uk blogger.

The 38-year-old pool cleaner responded to Theresa Heath’s blog which criticised the programme for relying too heavily on sob stories and her belief that the public prefer to support men on reality shows.

She said: “As usual, the GBP (Great British Public) demonstrated their weakness for any man with a sob story and puppy dog eyes, whilst booting out any slightly less cute and pathetic looking girls. It's the Big Brother syndrome all over again - girls just do not like to vote for other girls, and for this we should be ashamed.”

She went on to criticise Daniel for his “swooning” performance, which she said the public would excuse because he was “a single father and a 'really nice guy'”.

Late last night, Daniel replied: “Thanks, Theresa, please feel free to audition and do a better job.

“I didn’t want to be a sob story, but that’s my life and that’s what took me to this competition.”

If the public don't like to vote for 'cute' girls then how did Sara finish third in BB and Rachel win; Leona also won the X Factor. That's a really stupid theory that is getting boring now. And if they're referring to Bad Lashes and Girlband then Daniel has put in a better performance in both weeks than they did.

I don't really like Daniel, but his performances have been OK both weeks, he doesn't deserve to go yet.

Its true though

A woman has only won Big Brother 3 times and one of them was transvestite

Out of 5 CBB's a woman has only one twice and thats only because one of them was a 'non celeb' and the other was bullied

Out of 4 X Factor's only once has a woman won it and thats because she was exceptional

Daniel and Scott are the 2 worst singers left but i bet they wont be the next 2 out :rolleyes:

We all know what she meant, and its obviously true. Sara finoshed rd becasue of Darnell Backlash! Rachel s she might be cute, but he was a assexual female housemate, girl could get on board with that! Same or Leona, she was a very shy reserved puppy type of female. BUt the truth still remains the same, there might be exception, but in general, thats how it works!

As for the title, I didnt sense any anger on that post
