Coincidence?

Do you think it's a coincidence that Cheryl's been given the strongest category this year? Dannii Minogue won with Leon last year; in her first year as a judge. Is this some new, bizarre way to prove that the judges are qualified to pass judgments? Find out next time, on the FiX Factor!

Well no because Chery's not going to win.

Adamw92 22-10-2008 02:32 PM

well i think she will win if not then its a travesty because her 3 girls are by far the best catgeory this year, not really suprised, i'd rather she won because then at least each judge has won at least once, tho simon's won twice so far

shanelle 22-10-2008 02:34 PM

i think she mite win but she want have all her girls in the final

GiRTh 22-10-2008 02:39 PM

Cheryl's got the strongest category for sure and she knew it as soon as she got it. I don't think the boys were that strong last year. If it wasn't for Sharon's ineptitude then a girl might have done well last year. The over 25 was probably the strongest category last year with Nikki and Beverley but they got Louis as their mentor. What rotten luck for them.

I agree with you about last series, had it not been for Sharon and Louis' collective screw ups, there would not have been a final with Same Difference in it, that's for sure.

LOL

It was painful watching Same Difference go through week after week after week.

It is actually just a coincidence.

You know this how? have you seen the polls/bookies/Facebook?

Cheryl has the strongest category, all 3 girls are the best singers, if she doesn't win it will be a travesty IMO. The boys have nothing on the girls.

shanelle 22-10-2008 03:09 PM

i dont think it is about fan base it. as i was saying to my friend the other day on britain got talent signiture had the biggest fan base but they did not win.

XxShortyxX 22-10-2008 03:11 PM

Bookies, polls as well, and the fact people on DS say at their school Diana is the most popular Constent.

School is the key word. It tells you something about the audience she appeals to.

Anyway its not a coincidence. Its been clear from the start thats the strongest category and they probably want Cheryl to win to show its worth her being there.

Indierock&roll 22-10-2008 04:16 PM

its a fix this year but last year i dont think the boys were the strongest category anyway... people hated rhydian.. leon wasnt really a favourate and andy was like out early..
but yeah the new judges have been given the best categories

XxShortyxX 22-10-2008 06:02 PM

How is it a fix? :conf:

i think it would make it more intresting if 3 judges had one act each in the final

Its not, they just gave Cheryl the strongest category to show she can win the programme. It wouldn't be any good hyping her up as the new judge then being lumbered with the groups would it?

The girls are by far the strongest category (even in the final 6, 4 of them deserved a place in the final 3 unlike other categories) so if Cheryl can't win with the girls, then she probably won't be able to win at all.

XxShortyxX 23-10-2008 01:53 PM

Yeah I agree Tom, it defo isn't a fix though. I really hope one of Cheryl's girls win, if not then I want JLS to win. Rachel has no chance of winning, I do like her though.

GiRTh 23-10-2008 02:21 PM

It's not fixed but it is strange how the new judge has landed the strongest category.
