Eek, this is a nasty one – but thankfully it has a happy ending. It’s just been confirmed that Taylor Momsen from Gossip Girl has spent the week in hospital battling a throat infection described as “life-threatening.” The 15-year-old actress was about to take a school exam when she “woke up with a sore throat” – but she wasn’t just trying to get out of her studies, as her doctor confirms. “I have been treating Miss Taylor Momsen for the last few days," says Dr Shawn Nasseri. "She has been hospitalized for a severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection since Sunday. She has been an excellent patient, and after aggressive antibiotics and medications, she is expected to make a full recovery in the next three to five days.” Taylor’s Gossip Girl pals have issued a get well soon statement for the actress. “Taylor Momsen is a beloved member of our Gossip Girl cast and we are happy to report she is on the road to a speedy recovery," they said. Sounds scary, so we’re glad she’s on the mend now.

I'm so glad she's recovered I love Jenny. Sounds like it was blown out of proportion though.
I still can't belive she's 15 though.

I've had millions of throat infections and I'm still here :\

Glad she's okay though, she's beautiful and a hugely underrated actress for her age.

I know, she's really changed. Her individual style has changed a lot this season (of Gossip Girl)
