What Could Ruth Sing To Ensure She Is Not In The Bottom 2?

Here are a few of my suggestions for this week (i personally would love her to to the 3rd option):

Robbie Williams - Angels (Spanish Version)

Madonna - Don't Cry For Me Argentina

Enrique Iglesias - Hero (Spanish Version)

Maybe she could do these in a mix of English and Spanish (to please Simon Cowell?)

robb 23-10-2008 01:49 PM

English and Spanish to please Mr. Cowell!! And maybe wear high-waisted trousers too!! Pity she can't do purple rain again though!!

Ben could you possibly say what songs you have chosen? As I cant see the videos while at work :(

robb 23-10-2008 01:52 PM

UKturtle, I know most polls are pretty meaningless, but ruth is 2nd on here, AND DS......behind diana.............now if only we can turn that into real votes!!

Please vote for her. Others deserve to go before her.

sure was. I remember that thread so well. One because i think it was the first convo I spoke to you/met you on here and two because Ross made me laugh soooo much and that other girl really wound me up, she was so rude to everyone.

Yeah I will give her some votes, Diana/laura/Alex will go enough votes anyway.

God bless the child by Billy Holiday.

She'd be able to give it the right amount of emotion. There wont be a dry eye in the house.

Edit: The song might be a bit too obscure.

shanelle 23-10-2008 02:54 PM

i would not count on it if u want ur favorite to go throw u have to vote. i think alot of people thought ruth was safe and they did not vote

Annie 23-10-2008 02:56 PM

I think she should sing anything powerful and emotion filled as she actually sings from the heart - one of the only people I have seen doing that in this series of the live shows so far.
She made me cry with Purple Rain and that had nothing to do with the song so a sad song AND her emotion would blow the audience, judges and viewers away.

This week I will be voting for her to make sure she does get through. :hello:

shanelle 23-10-2008 02:58 PM

i hope she is not in the bottom 2 there is more acts that are worse then here.

Yeah totally agree she doesnt deserve to be in the bottom two

shanelle 23-10-2008 03:05 PM

i would like it to be daniel or rachel in the bottom 2 this week but i carnt see it happening. i thought x factor was about singing so i dont understand how ruth can be in the bottom 2 before daniel

At last. Someone who see it the same way as me.

shanelle 23-10-2008 03:13 PM

so the bottom 2 this week should be daniel and rachel as there not the best singers in the competion

shanelle 23-10-2008 03:14 PM

but apparently out side of the forum daniel is really popular (i dont understand that tho)

Dan_ 23-10-2008 03:30 PM

I think it could be Alexandra, and I think it'll be impressive but she'll be the Beverley of this year.

I really don't think Ruth should give in to Simon, but I guess she'll have to if she wants to receive positive comments.

I think you're right. Alex would do great version of Feeling good; Rachel too.
