He would not have won this, would not sell many records or even last that long (He was this years Leon).

And I am happy he has gone, and I do think Daniel was slightly better tonight.

I agree. I totally understand why people are angry that he's out over Daniel, but I think Daniel sang with a lot of emotion and deserved to stay based on the sing off performance, even though he's got a very limited shelf life in the competition now. Scott wouldn't have fared much better, I don't think, he was a no hoper IMO.

He has the brat factor

scott was better than eoghan but daniel in that song alone was better tonight. and yeh scott and daniel arent going to sell a great amount of records.

kinda annoying because tonight was the first night i likes scott but i like daniel more.

Neither of the bottom 2 deserved to stay, but Daniel was worser throughout the entire competition so I'd have gone for Scott to stay.

Scott's got a decent voice but only in week two did he give a good performance.There's plenty of other guys out there better than him.

He has far more X factor than Daniel! He could of been a great recording artist! Look at Britney!

He was still better in the 2nd bit, even without the "sob story" (which it wasn't really). Plus, Scott thought he was brilliant, which he clearly wasn't.

I'm sure he's very sorry for talking about things that have happened in his life; Scott brings the Pontins crap up all the time and Rachel talks about her past all the time, no one has any problems with that.

Yes for the sheer fact they both have mediocre voices... nothing fantastic. No X factor there, but add a greatly written song and some good promotion and he could be VERY successful. He has a commercial voice.
