Who has peaked already?

All in the title

Benjamin 28-10-2008 01:58 PM

Laura, she is very over-rated and nothing special, she won't get much better.

i think Diana ha also, which is a shame.

Adamw92 28-10-2008 01:58 PM

Eoghan

Spike 28-10-2008 01:59 PM

Diana

Annie 28-10-2008 01:59 PM

Diana has peaked too soon and a lot of people will not see a journey with her and people will get bored. She is a one trick pony

She could be another Rydian.
Brilliant from start to finish. Nothing new to her and eventually the public will pick a hot guy to win. Instead of the talent.
Its a shame as I really like her.

Adamw92 28-10-2008 02:01 PM

i wish we could vote twice tho because i think Daniel and Laura couldnt do much more

Rhydian did something different every week. I hated him but he was a good contestant :joker:

Yeah different song genres/styles.
But his music was virtually the same.
He was consistant but leon went and won because he was Alright on the last night. I'm still annoyed about that.. LOL

Perform different genres. What other contestant would be able to do Phantom of the Opera one week and Go West a few weeks later?

He took risk after risk, I can't see Diana doing that

Thats why its a shame.
Rhydian was brilliant every single week.
Leon was average on a good day.
Diana is not as good as Rydian but if they as you said take risks then maybe she will become more interesting. I don't think they are using her talent enough.

Diana. To be honest I can't see how she's gonna shock me at any point. She's done the same kind of song even in different genres and I think it's gonna stay that way

^^ Completely agree. I think she has a big enough fanbase that will support her no matter what now though.

She seems to be a bit of a one trick pony, as unique as her voice may be. It's not as commercial enough so she needs to step away from TXF and make a mark of her own now that she has the publicity. She may have the X factor, but it's still not what the show wants.

Yeah, her fanbase is big enough to keep her in and for her to get a career out of it, but I just don't think she'll win, right now I can't see any way that she can earn it in the majority of voters' eyes, although I may be wrong

Wildcat! 28-10-2008 02:33 PM

I think Diana is gonna be in the final for sure. She is terrible, but it seems, thats what the voters like this year:tongue:
BUt If she gets to the final, she could lose, because I know she irritates a lot of people, so with a 2 way vote she can lose in the final!

I hope she dont, cause Ive got money on her!

Its not a massive risk though, she performs in the same style every week. And she had to do Michael Jackson.

Lewis. 28-10-2008 03:01 PM

i think Ruth's Purple rain was her peak.

robb 28-10-2008 03:01 PM

JLS may have more to offer..............wouldn't be that suprised to see them in the final with diana, who appears to have a bye to the final however well or badly she sings................

GiRTh 28-10-2008 03:23 PM

Diana and unfortunately, Laura. Diana sings in the same style each week. At first everybody loved her. Her fans would use words like 'eerie' and 'haunting' to describe her vocal style. Im glad that many now see she's just a one trick pony.

Also, Laura has peaked. She's a great singer when she gets going but Rachel's performance on Saturday showed up laura's technical deficiencies.

robb 28-10-2008 03:28 PM

I saw Alison Goldfrapp (Goldfrapp) live over the weekend......now there is a brilliant, quirky singer............

LemonJam 28-10-2008 03:30 PM

Sadly, Laura peaked SO early that I fear her leaving soon.
