Schwimmer denies \'Friends\' movie rumours
 

David Schwimmer is the latest Friends star to deny that a movie version of the US sitcom is in the works.

The actor told Parade that he had not even heard of the idea when reports emerged that the film was to be released next year.

"There's never been any talk of a Friends film, at least as far as I know," he said.

It was claimed in July that stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow were open to the idea of reprising their roles.

However, Warner Bros later dismissed the reports as "rumours".

You know, they can so make a new friends series!
But not the same style with the studio audience. I prefer the new comedies, like Samantha who, or scrubs. ANd they can set it to when they are in their 40's. Making the kinds the main characters. The have Phoebe's triplets, then Ross's Ben, and Emma! ANd Monica and chanlers kids. I wouldnt be surprised, it happens in the future, since none of them are really succesful other than 4 friends!

I don't want a film, just 1 last series in a few years time.

I think a movie could definetly work, look at SATC.
