New X Factor Themes; What would you have?
 

Lets face it, X Factor is just recycling themes from last year. If you could make any themes you want, what would they be?

I'd include:
- Acoustic Week
- Rock Week
- Self-written song week
- All time classics week
- Norweigan Viking Metal week (Just for the lols :hugesmile:)

What would you have?

Scrap the themes completely, contestants pick their own songs each week

for me, i think

week1 : best of british
week2 : big bands
week3 : acoustic
week4 : maria carey
week5 : disco
week6 : micheal jackson
week7 : rock *this will realy test them, and will show whos got the whole package*
week9 : all time classic
week10: self-written song

that would be pointless...because there is no challenge...and they would just look like copycats!

thats why they changed the sing off so that contestants can pick a song of their choice.

I would defo have self written as i think its important in an artist

then:

love songs
movie soundtracks
a duet with another contestant
accoustic

yerh i think that would be realy interesting!!!!

So your saying it would be better for them to sing a style of song which they would never release? That meaning the public judging them on that is pointless
Whereas if they chose their own songs each week, we would know the kind of music they will be releasing if they win and we could judge them better

the whole point is to challenge them, if they sing in the same style, otherwise they'd just sound the same.

plus, the system that it has now wouldnt have been put for no reason.

I think a current top 40 week would be interesting. If they could only sing songs that were in the charts that week, it would really show just how current each contestant is.

No. The whole point is to find an artist to release music and become successful. If that artist is good one genre of music, why make them sing others when they will never release music of that type?
Most artists sing the same style or close to it all the time and they are successful. You don't listen to Madonna for a big strong ballad like you don't listen to Leona for a huge, upbeat, catchy pop song.

well, tell them that...because they are the once trying to find someone with the "X-FACTOR"
so they have to see different side of them.

like i said, they wouldnt just make the system like that for no reason

But wouldn't self-written week take too long like take a long time 2 write the songs and then produce a melody for them and then rehearse wouldn't it be abit I don't know like rushed.b and really pressurised.

maybe they could just do that for their first song on the last week! ^_^

Motown Week! That's the best week, I wish they'd have it again...

I'd love a completely christmas theme for the final, all christmas songs except the winners song obviously
