CELEBRITY and first-winner of Big Brother Craig Phillips will today join the family of a Wirral teenager killed by a drink driver to promote road safety.

Phillips, whose father Les was killed in similar circumstances, and his sister will come together with the family of Eluned Cleverley, 18, from Meols, who died in August 2006.

They will meet at St Michael’s CE High School in Crosby, where, with pupils, they will hold banners reading: “Stop. Imagine. Change.”

Mary Williams, chief executive of Brake, which organises Road Safety Week, said: “We all need to take a cold, hard look at our behaviour on the roads and improve it.”

I'm just glad the really old Big Brother housemates pop up in the News now and again and you find out what they are up to.

It's interesting that the early housemates are still promoting good causes, making the world a better place to live with their 5 minutes of fame, while the new breed of housemates just want to get as much money as they can and hang around in night clubs.
