Wii vs iPod:Which should I get for xmas?
 

I mean as like my main present. See I had an iPod but it broke and was thinking of getting the new Nano Chromatic one for xmas. But then I thought about the Wii when I saw a couple of games I have for the DS were coming out on it.

Now it might be possible to get both by having the Wii as my main one and then just asking everyone else to give me the joint gift of the iPod but then I'm seriously cutting back the amount of presents I get! Sorry to sound shallow.

iPod, Wii's loose there novelty after a while and you probably will become really bored of it.

Wii. There are new games and new novelties constantly with it. I'm still enjoying it months afterwards.

I've never had an iPod and happily live without it.

It depends on how much enjoyment you get out of listening to music or do you need something to entertain yourself?

If you can sit and listen to music then go for the ipod

If you need to be entertained then go for the wii

Personally I would go with the ipod, I have both. I hankered after the wii for months and months. I couldnt find one for love nor money in the country and believe me I tried everywhere.

The novelty of the wii has worn off now and I use my ipod an awful lot more than the wii

Have you also thought about a DS?

iPod, give the Wii a few months and it does become boring

Get an Ipod.. With a Wii you need to buy new games quite frequently!

Wii- get an iPod with your Christmas money (if you get enough) because they're cheaper :joker:

iPod. You'll use it more. And push for a touch, they're sexier. I have both and I hardly ever even go on the wii anymore. Also you'll have to pay for extra games for the wii to keep it interesting and you won't with the iPod.

Yup, I have a DS and love it. Infact, it was when I heard that one of my fav DS games - Animal Crossing - was coming out on Wii that made me consider it.
