Diana's still rough

After emerging as one of the competition’s early favourites, Diana Vickers had her world thrown upside down last Saturday night.

First the Blackburn girl was told that she would not be able to sing during Mariah week due to a severe case of laryngitis, and then her best friend in the X Factor house, Laura White, was voted off the show.

Diana has been really down in the dumps since being struck down with the infection, which is an inflammation of the vocal chords, and now her best buddy has gone things aren’t looking better.

The latest news on her condition is that she has been to the doctors for a second check-up, but it still remains unclear whether she will be well enough to perform this week for Best of British night.

Should Diana be given another week off if she is still too sick to sing?

Oh dear, from all the things I have read/heard she will actually preform tonight, even though she still has a bad throat.

I really hope she performs, I'm not her biggest fan but she should be able to sing rather than miss another week and be booted off

It said on her Facbook fan page that she does feel a bit rough still, but she said that no matter what she is going to sing.
